GGuest UserThis is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care.
No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey.
This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys!

GGuest UserAs someone who has travelled all over the world, this has been the best hotel I have ever visited. It feels more like a resort than a hotel. Every aspect was perfect, from the service, to the food, location, room, bed, shower, amenities, and beyond. It was so good I extended my stay.
The location is incredible, as it is such a unique picturesque landscape that only a local village in China can provide you. I've explored different areas of this village, and I think this hotel has the best view. It's also a 20-minute hike down to the central village, which was really interesting to explore, especially during festival season. However, I feel like there is no need to explore outside because this place has the best view.
The host and staff were all incredible, the warmest and most helpful people.
The food was amazing..providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is seriously rich. There was so much variety, and the ingredients were so local and fresh. It tasted like healthy but delicious home cooked meals. The coffee is just as amazing.
As I am a foreigner who can't speak Chinese, the host, who speaks English well, was able to help me with every aspect during my stay. Since this area is 2 hours away from the airport, I was worried how to get here, but the host graciously helped arrange a driver, and I was able to arrive safely. The host went above and beyond to help me and to allow me to feel at home.
This hotel is very kid-friendly, but it is also amazing for solo travelers and business travelers. It is good for any type of traveler. I came here alone, partly to explore the area, but also to work. Their open lounge by the window with comfy couches allowed me to work while taking in the amazing oxygen and beautiful natural smells.
The shower works great, and the washroom is really nice, with the smart toilet and all. In fact, the interior design of this hotel throughout is so thoughtfully well designed. I slept so well here, the bed is perfect and I had peace and quiet during my nights.
Literally every aspect of this hotel was perfect and beyond my expectations. It's incredibly high value, and better than any actual resort I've been to. It is just such a unique place overall, but the hotel made me extremely emotional because it was so good, yet so relaxing, making me feel like royalty.
Booking this hotel is a serious no-brainer. Do not hesitate and please book this place. It's a once in a lifetime memory to be made.

When staying at guesthouses, you always worry about things not living up to expectations, and while the online photos looked great, this place really nailed the details. From the bedsheets to the toiletries, from the tea to the food at their restaurant – I highly recommend their spicy chicken and rice paddy fish – everything shows the owner's dedication. It felt just like being at home, very reassuring. The staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly accommodating. GGuest UserMy stay at Tenglongge Panoramic Inn was an unforgettable package of delightful surprises and genuine warmth!
First off, the location is simply unbeatable – truly the prime viewing spot for the Longji Terraces. Open your window, and you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking, undulating curves of the rice paddies. When the clouds and mist roll in, it feels like living inside a classical painting. And watching the wisps of smoke rise from the valley at dusk, time genuinely seems to slow to a crawl. The inn itself is also incredibly clean and comfortable; every nook and cranny is meticulously tidied, making it a perfectly reassuring choice for families traveling with children.
The proprietress was even more heartwarming, treating us like close family. She welcomed us with hot tea the moment we arrived, enthusiastically sharing tips on the best spots for sunset views and recommending the most delicious bamboo rice. She even helped us carry our luggage all the way to our room.
But what I'll truly remember for a lifetime was the 'drone scare' that evening! It was already dark, and I was trying to capture night photos of the terraced fields when I accidentally flew my drone a bit too high. With the low visibility, it crashed into the trees, and I instantly panicked. As I was squatting on the ground, frantically trying to figure out what to do, the innkeeper appeared with a flashlight and simply said, 'Come on, I'll help you find it!'
It was pitch black in the mountains that night, impossible to see your hand in front of your face, and the path was incredibly steep. As we walked, a small venomous snake suddenly darted out, scaring me so much I almost screamed. But with lightning-fast reflexes, the innkeeper grabbed a branch and deftly pushed the snake away. We continued our search for nearly half an hour, stumbling through the uneven terrain, until we finally located the drone, tangled in grass and leaves within the bushes. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and relief, yet still shaking from the scare. He was drenched in sweat but kept repeating, 'As long as it's found, that's all that matters.'
This wasn't just a hotel stay; it truly felt like finding kind-hearted family in the mountains! And as for the scenery? Words aren't enough – I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. After all, even a tiny glimpse through the lens is enough to linger in your memory for a long, long time. Next time I'm in Longji, I'm definitely staying here again!

GGuest UserEverything was amazing. We opted to upgrade our room when we got there for a higher floor. The view was really nice (when there was no fog). The man who ran the hotel also spoke good English meaning he could explain routes to us. Hotel was also located close to the gate meant convenient access to the transportation in and out of the park. Rooms were also very spacious and the hotel provided for everything that was needed.
Only drawback I would say is the lack of an elevator. Meaning if you’re on the fourth floor like we were, it was a hike up and down everyday.

Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace.
Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes.
If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee.
Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay.

We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

The second night facing the rice fields, the frogs' cries were too noisy. When you get to the scenic spot, you still need to drive for an hour to get to the bottom of the mountain, and you have to climb the mountain for 15 minutes to get to the hotel. The food in the hotel is delicious if you order it with your eyes closed. scenery is beautiful.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.
