"My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I booked my stay around three weeks in advance, yet when I arrived after a long journey, the receptionist could not find my reservation and initially suggested moving me to a different room the following day, which caused unnecessary stress. The room I was eventually given was on level -2 (basement). It had almost no natural light, only a tiny window facing the corridor and another window that could not be opened. The room had a terrible smell from the moment I arrived, and I had to ask for an air freshener, which I kept using throughout my stay. On one occasion, I also returned to find the room smelling strongly of cigarette smoke. The hairdryer and the safe were both broken, and the room showed signs of dampness, making it feel unsuitable for guests. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor and kept disconnecting. When I reported this to reception, instead of apologizing, I was told that the internet was working perfectly, which made me feel that my concerns were simply dismissed. The attached photos show the cluttered and untidy area outside my room, which was the first thing I saw every time I left or returned to my room."

"I want to highlight the staff's responsiveness; they're great. The cleaning was decent. The breakfast is European, with options for everyone's taste. It's a bit far from the metro, about a 15-minute uphill walk. The noise level is average, with cars driving by until midnight. But overall, the hotel is a solid 4. The interior looks new and well-maintained. However, some everyday details aren't well thought out. Nevertheless, it offers excellent value for money!"

"Traveling with my wife, we booked a special offer room. First, the pros: 1. We were on the sixth floor, and the room was very clean. The front desk manager was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. 2. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. To the left, there were ancient Byzantine city walls, and to the right, the city skyline – truly beautiful. 3. Transportation is extremely convenient. There's a T1 tram station just 300 meters away and countless bus stops, offering direct access to various attractions. 4. There's a Carrefour supermarket about 500 meters away, and many traditional Turkish restaurants nearby that are delicious, affordable, and don't rip off tourists. Now, the cons: 1. It's probably because we booked a special offer room, which meant the room quality wasn't the best. The bathroom drain had a daily unpleasant smell after showers, which was quite annoying. 2. The air conditioner was very old and emitted a musty, sour odor when operating. We had to set it to 16 degrees (the lowest) to reduce the smell to an unnoticeable level. Summary: I would definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Istanbul, but I'll make sure to get one of their more expensive suites."
