Guest UserThe environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜.
I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

Guest UserFront desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

Guest UserI did some research online before checking in, and the reviews were mixed, so I was a bit nervous. As soon as I arrived, a staff member helped me with my luggage. The hotel isn't large, but the service was excellent, not as exaggerated as some online reviews suggested. For our holiday trip, the experience was pretty good. We originally booked for three days and two nights, but all the water activities we'd planned were canceled due to a typhoon. I thought we wouldn't be able to get a refund for the second night, but I asked the front desk just in case, and they processed the checkout very quickly. I also left some items behind in my haste, and the hotel even helped me courier them. From check-in to check-out and the dining, especially the sunset over the pool on the first night, I think it was quite worthwhile.

congcong0613Environment: The environment is really superb. I booked a water villa, and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe water villa, which had a better location and was closer to the hotel lobby. The balcony in the room overlooked the lake, and you could feed fish and ducklings from the balcony railing. There were so many koi in the hotel, some even bigger than the ducks, which was really fun.
Service: Every staff member I encountered was super nice. When my child mentioned that the snacks delivered to the room were delicious, they specially sent two extra portions that afternoon. When I checked out, they even prepared some for me to take away, which was incredibly touching! Thumbs up, thumbs up!
Food: The breakfast area isn't big, but it's delicious! There's a wide variety of bread, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options are very rich. Even if you go to eat after 9 am, there's no long queue; it's quiet with fewer people. We had dinner at the Baiyun Restaurant, which was also very good, costing a little over 200 yuan per person, which was quite reasonable.
Facilities: The hotel is indeed not new anymore, as it has been open for a long time, but it's very well maintained. And this Chinese style just looks ancient and elegant, which I personally really like.
Rowboat: Three of us took the hotel's rowboat. It was 400 yuan for an hour to charter the boat, which is indeed a bit more expensive than outside, but the advantage is no queues, no exposure to the sun, and there wasn't a second boat on the outer lake waterway, so we had a private secret retreat all to ourselves – so comfortable!

Anonymous UserAbsolutely amazing! One step into the bustling old street, another into the serene quietude. The hotel is nestled in the ancient town, a hidden gem amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The aesthetics and service are, of course, top-notch. What truly stood out was our butler, Huang Qi, who was incredibly attentive. From arranging transfers to and from the scenic area to meticulously planning our itinerary during our stay, everything was perfectly organized. Wuzhen offers so much to see and do, with many activities requiring reservations and advance planning, and Huang Qi took care of all of it beforehand. Staying within Xizha allowed us to experience Wuzhen in the early mornings and late evenings, avoiding the crowds and enjoying it like a privileged few. Wuzhen has also evolved so much, with technology, theater, and the 'Pillow-Water Homes'... it truly lives up to its reputation as the ultimate ancient town. A truly satisfying trip!

Stepping onto the balcony, West Lake was literally three steps away – not a distant view framed by a window, but the water almost lapping at my feet. Morning mist glided across the surface, the outline of Broken Bridge faintly visible behind a thin veil, and a couple of early-bird mandarins划开了 the mirror-like surface, their ripples spreading right up to my eyelids.
For these four days, I barely left the lake. Every morning, I’d jog along the lakeside promenade, from Park No. 1 to Park No. 6, watching old people practice Tai Chi by the water, squirrels scampering up plane trees. The fountains hadn't started their show, and the water was as still as an uncarved jade. When I got tired, I’d sit on a bench and watch the sun inch its way up from behind Gem Mountain, stretching Baochu Pagoda’s shadow long before dissolving it into the lake – that 'shimmering lake light' they talk about really was a pool of flowing gold foil. In the evenings, I couldn't bear to go back to my room. As the sunset dipped behind Leifeng Pagoda, the entire lake would blaze orange, and the silhouettes of pleasure boats glided by like a living Song Dynasty painting.
The hardware was impeccable. The bathtub faced the lake, and with the lights off while bathing, the window revealed a lake full of lights, the distant city skyline twinkling like scattered diamonds. But what truly made me want to stay were those small, warm touches: the turndown service bringing warm osmanthus lotus root starch, with a handwritten card saying, 'The moonlight is beautiful tonight'; returning to find my sun umbrella carefully rolled up and leaning by the door; the front desk girl remembering I loved Longjing tea, asking every morning before I left, 'Shall I brew it for you and leave it in your room today, or would you prefer it when you return?'
It rained on the last night. I deliberately left the balcony door open, letting the fine drizzle drift in, filling the air with the scent of lake water and fresh grass. Lying in bed, listening to the rain patter on the lotus leaves, I suddenly recalled Zhang Dai’s 'Watching Snow from the Mid-Lake Pavilion' – though the season was wrong, that ethereal feeling of 'sky and clouds and mountains and water, all white as one' (天与云与山与水,上下一白), I now fully understood it.
Upon checkout, the front desk handed me a kraft paper bag containing a small jar of Longjing tea and a Polaroid photo – a picture of my back as I sat on the balcony gazing at the lake on my first day. On the back of the photo was written: 'West Lake awaits your return.'
My eyes welled up at that moment. There are many good hotels, but only this one can make a lake truly settle into your heart.

Lanmeimei_ZJOur family's first summer trip – Naked Stables. Our little one rushed to Moganshan right after school, still in her uniform! Even though it was the rainy season, it had its own unique charm.
**Environment:** Secluded and tranquil, with various standalone round houses or villas nestled in the valley. The landscape design ensures excellent privacy. There are also plenty of activities, making it a great place for a holiday!
**Facilities:** The in-room amenities are all excellent, and the minibar is well-stocked. Even the chargeable snacks are delicious! On rainy days, it's perfect for enjoying tea and snacks in the room. However, the bathroom in the round house felt a bit small, and the shower facilities were located on the balcony, which was inconvenient to use on rainy evenings. My elderly parents had no choice but to use the bathtub, which was quite inconvenient. Later, we discovered the water heater wasn't working. The butler responded quickly, but it took an hour to fix the hardware, and still no hot water. The duty manager then proactively and very thoughtfully came to check on us and kindly moved us to another room where we could finally enjoy a comfortable hot shower.
**Service:** The butler service contacted us by phone before check-in to pre-register our license plate, allowing for seamless entry without stopping. The hotel also offers a wide range of entertainment programs for both adults and children. Our child loved it, quietly enjoying handicraft activities and horseback riding. Our little girl especially adored it and rode for half an hour each day during our two-day stay.
**Exquisite Naked Stables Souvenirs:** The cups are commemorative, and each room area is named after an animal. The various merchandise sold in the lobby is also very appealing and meaningful; we bought some to take home!
**Restaurants:** There's an Italian Western restaurant and a Chinese restaurant, both with good food. The set menus at the Western restaurant were decent, and à la carte options weren't expensive.

Service: The service attitude was superb, and the staff guided us through the check-in process from start to finish.
Environment: The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and the hotel was quiet and pleasant.
Cleanliness: The room was spotless, and the entire hotel maintained excellent hygiene.
Bedding: The sheets, duvet covers, and pillows were the best we've encountered in any hotel during this trip. The bedding felt incredibly soft against the skin, and the pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
Food: While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, every item was exceptionally delicious and well-prepared. They had everything from NFC juice, milk, coffee, and soy milk to Coke and Sprite. I highly recommend the incredibly tasty xiaolongbao, and the freshly made beef noodles were absolutely fantastic – the beef was tender and soft, and the noodles had a great chew. Everyone should definitely try them!
Parking: The hotel has its own parking spaces, which makes parking safe and worry-free.
The most important thing bears repeating three times: You can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard, you can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard, you can feed squirrels in the hotel courtyard! This was a huge hit with the kids, allowing them to watch the squirrels eat up close.
Finally, I'm giving a five-star review again. Hesheli Hotel received unanimous approval from our entire family, and we hope to have the chance to visit again in the future.

Naked Castle is a landmark in Moganshan, boasting a rich history from being a British summer retreat to a gathering place for celebrities during the Republic of China era. It's a prime example of the 'foreign-style' guesthouses in Moganshan. While many new luxury resorts have sprung up in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region over the years, and the Naked series continues to evolve, Naked Castle's scenery is truly unparalleled. Perched atop a mountain, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Moganshan range, with its own private outdoor pool. The themed rooms inside the castle are incredibly unique, making you feel as if you've traveled back to medieval Europe, sharing a dwelling with a diverse group of people.
My only minor complaint would be the somewhat understated presence of the staff. Many newer resorts have a more proactive and attentive service approach.

Guest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, quiet despite being on a main street, and close to all the attractions. It's also just a three-minute walk to the subway station. The facilities are comprehensive, the lobby has a stylish and minimalist design, and the rooms are well-equipped with all necessary amenities, making it perfect for a vacation. Una provided attentive and thoughtful service during my stay. I'll definitely choose Xin Yu again when I return to Hangzhou.
