Hotels With Breakfast in Western Province, Sri Lanka

Very nice hotel. Got to try city view and sea view. I had a minor inconvenience with the toilet door. Other than that amazing hotel. Will definitely come back.

Stayed for 4 nights as i had a wedding to attend.  It was my first time visiting Colombo City so went in with lots of excitement in general.  Got to hotel pretty late, but was welcomed by a very friendly doorman who took all my bags.  Check in was smooth.  Room is very clean, modern, full A/C, it's all well done.  I had a nice view to the city and the ocean.  I used the gym, it's decent, has everything you need to keep yourself fit during your stay.  There are loads food places, like western to asian food all near by.  50m away from a big supermarket if you need to grab anything.  It's about 20,25 mins away from Red Mosque on Tuktuk.  I'd stay here again for sure. 

I had a really great stay at Amari Colombo. The hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable throughout. The rooms were well maintained and everything felt fresh and tidy. The location is excellent — easy to get around the city and close to everything you’d need. One of the highlights was the rooftop, which has fantastic views over Colombo. It’s a great spot to unwind and take in the skyline. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I’d happily return.

Booked a triple room, but when I arrived, they told me it wasn't available and gave me a twin room with an extra bed instead. The service was also incredibly slow; they only came to set up the room after I got really frustrated from chasing them multiple times. However, Trip.com was very responsive and helped resolve the issue quite smoothly in the end. The hotel's location is decent, within walking distance to Gallery Cafe and Barefoot, and right across from the ocean train. As for facilities, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a standard old four or five-star hotel.

I stayed here for two nights and found the experience to be average. The location is definitely the best part of this hotel—you can’t beat it for convenience. I had requested a birthday cake upon arrival, and the hotel did a good job of arranging that for me, which I appreciated. However, the rest of the stay was hit-or-miss. The cleanliness was only average, and the receptionist wasn't very attentive. It’s a fine place if you just need a central spot to sleep.

The service was satisfactory. The room had a small sofa and was decorated in a predominantly red color scheme. The swimming pool offered a great view, though the water was a bit cold. Breakfast was plentiful. Lunch was Western cuisine; the dishes were exquisitely prepared and tasted pretty good, but the serving speed was a bit slow.

They’re good, and their service is also good. But their online response is very bad. I didn't get any response to when I texted and called them, as I had some queries. But their hospitality is very good. And food is also tasty.

Our family of three checked into the hotel during the first week of May 2025. Unfortunately, our overall experience was underwhelming. Room service was disappointing, our order was incorrect, and we chose not to send it back as we assumed it would take a long time to receive the correct one. It also took three separate calls just to receive the room service menu. Additionally, we were charged for ice despite having an active room service food bill, which felt unreasonable. When we inquired about evening entertainment (Friday eve), the front desk assured us a live band would be performing, but this never happened. It appeared the resort seems to operate with minimal staff, which may explain the drop in service quality. On a positive note, we were warmly welcomed by a great host at check-in, and the barman at the pool bar made excellent cocktails and provided friendly service. Hopefully, this could be just a rare slip-up.

This was my second stay at Cinnamon Grand. My first experience was excellent. This time, I checked in late, and since the rooms in the usual section were full, I was assigned a room on the other side. The facilities there felt noticeably older, the hairdryer was broken, and the bathroom was smaller than in the other section. Furthermore, the cleanliness was poor – there were clumps of hair and a dead cockroach, and no slippers were provided. It felt like the two sections of the hotel had different standards for room upkeep. Since it was late when I checked in and I was only staying for two nights, I decided not to ask the hotel to change my room. If you're staying here, I recommend choosing a room accessed via the front desk entrance, rather than the one next to the pastry shop. I hope the hotel can improve the standards of these rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. During check-in, there was a system issue, and I was initially assigned two double rooms. The staff member then had to check four different rooms to find a correct single room for me. I really appreciate their effort. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the beach. However, it's quite a distance from the artificial harbor and the shopping mall, so it's best to take a tuk-tuk.

Остановились в этом месте для небольшой передышки после долгой дороги на Шри-Ланку , день отоспались и осмотрелись в округе . Хозяин всячески нам помог выбрать , где взять в аренду машину,  порекомендовал место где можно вкусно поужинать . Очень учтивый доброжелательный , отзывчивый
