I visited Nami Island with a few friends and we had an amazing day out together. The island had such a calm and refreshing atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful nature and tree-lined paths that made every walk feel relaxing. We spent most of the day exploring different areas, stopping often because there were so many scenic photo spots. Every corner of the island looked picture-perfect, from the open spaces to the shaded paths, making it really enjoyable to take photos and just take in the views. What made it even better was sharing the experience with friends — it felt fun, easy-going, and memorable without being rushed. Overall, it was a perfect mix of relaxation, nature, and good company, and I’d definitely love to visit again.

If you’re after speed, this first option is your best bet: take the Seoul Subway to Yongsan Station or Cheongnyangni Station. From either one, transfer to the ITX train to Gapyeong Station—the closest stop to Nami Island. The ride takes about 60 minutes from Yongsan and around 42 minutes from Cheongnyangni.

Getting to Nami Island #2: Subway (Gyeongchun Line)

The second option is to get there entirely by Seoul Subway. First, ride the subway to Sangbong Station, then continue from Sangbong to Gapyeong Station. You may need to make a few transfers along the way, so this route takes a bit longer.
