Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China and the world’s second‑tallest, stands at 2,073 feet with 128 floors. Completed in August 2014 and opened to the public in early 2015.

Shanghai Tower stands at 501 Yincheng Middle Road, right in the heart of Lujiazui, Pudong. It forms the famous “Three Giants” with Jin Mao Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center.

What to See Inside Shanghai Tower

Observation Deck (Levels 118 & 119)

The 118th floor sits at approximately 546 m. Visitors can reach the deck in under a minute by ultra-fast elevators. On clear days, you can see all the way to the Bund and the Huangpu River. After sunset, the city lights shimmer in the dark.

Sky Summit (Levels 125–126)

Known as the "Eye of Shanghai," this area boasts art‑tech installations and offers a viewing platform. On Level 126, visitors can also see the massive 1,000-ton tuned mass damper, visible during multimedia performances.

Indoor Sky Lobbies & Gardens

Each of the nine vertical zones includes double-deck sky lobbies with gardens, cafés, lounges, communal spaces, and some even hotel lobbies.
