To be honest, Universal Studios generally gives the impression of being expensive due to the various passes. However, since my top priority this time was the Resident Evil attraction, I decided to skip Nintendo World and bought a standard admission ticket to attempt an "open run." Even so, it was nice to be able to enjoy a surprisingly diverse range of attractions while waiting in line for different times. Just keep in mind that wait times for popular attractions increase exponentially as the late afternoon or evening approaches, so I recommend experiencing the attractions you want or the popular ones early in the day!

It's been a year since I last visited, and it seems a bit cooler than when I was here last time. That made it easier to walk around, and I liked being able to see more than I did last time.

Tips for Visiting Universal Studios Japan

  • ARRIVE EARLY: Be at the gate at least 60-90 minutes before the official opening time. This is your best chance to get into Super Nintendo World without an Express Pass.
  • Download the Official USJ App: This is your most powerful tool for booking Area Timed Entry Tickets, checking wait times, and using the map.
  • Consider an Express Pass: If your time is limited and you must ride the big attractions, it is worth the high cost.
  • Bring Essentials: A portable phone charger (you'll use your phone all day), cash (some vendors don't take credit cards), and a refillable water bottle.
  • Take a Break: The park can be overwhelming. Consider leaving in the late afternoon and returning later if you have a 1-Day Studio Pass (get a hand stamp).
  • Single Rider Lines: Several major rides (e.g., Jurassic Park, Flying Dinosaur) offer Single Rider lines that can cut your wait time dramatically.

A very atmospheric place, the whole family loved it. As I understand it, the exhibition's contents change depending on the season. We were there in August, focusing on sunflowers. My friend was there in October, and this location wasn't there. I definitely recommend visiting.

This place is perfect for a family trip with kids! There are many activities to get close to nature, such as picking fruit and wild vegetables, and feeding lambs and rabbits. The kids didn't want to leave; it's much more fun than an amusement park. The paths in the scenic area are smooth and easy to walk on, making it easy to push strollers. There are rest areas everywhere, so you can relax whenever you're tired without having to rush. The guesthouse has a large courtyard where children can run around freely, and the food is light and suitable for children—the details are very thoughtful. The kids have a great time, and the adults can relax too. I highly recommend it to all mothers.

An Osaka street that is less crowded than Dotonbori, where you can visit Tsutenkaku (slide), various kushikatsu, and long-standing restaurants! It has an old-fashioned feel, but that is what makes it even better. I came here when I first visited Japan, and I have been coming back ever since.

The grounds are very beautiful. We visited the castle itself, which offers a beautiful view of the city. The castle itself houses two floors of exhibits related to the castle's history. Photography is prohibited, so those unfamiliar with the history may find it uninteresting. On the second floor, for an additional fee, you can have your photo taken in period costumes and helmets.
