If you are traveling to Atlanta, I recommend visiting this place even if you skip Coca-Cola. I naturally made a reservation because the kid I traveled with (a middle school boy) was interested in this field, but I actually enjoyed it even more than he did. First of all, the zoning was different from the aquariums I have experienced in Korea. The aquariums I visited previously had a one-way flow, so you had to go from entrance to exit in one go, which was inconvenient as you had to go back to revisit a specific section. However, the Georgia Aquarium features a radial zoning layout, so you can view a section you want, exit, and then choose the next one to visit. Each zone isn't too long, so it isn't boring, and you can see things multiple times. Although it is a bit pricey, the food and beverage options on the second floor are diverse, so there is plenty of room to spend a long time there. The kids also really enjoyed the hands-on experience corners. Maybe because of the layout, it didn't feel overly crowded even though there were a lot of people. The admission fee is expensive, as expected for the U.S., but I was able to visit at a slightly cheaper price through Trip.com, and I even booked it right during my trip. It was a shame I couldn't see the dolphins because they weren't open at the time, but I did get to see the sea lion show. It's free, but it's best to book online. There are also lots of cute merchandise available.

I spent two hours exploring the place alone, completely absorbed in the experience. It's so vast and full of things to see, it can be tiring, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes!

Parking is $25. There's no time limit. Book a day in advance on Trip.com. Same-day reservations are not accepted. Tickets purchased on-site cost around $68. You can also visit the Coca-Cola Museum.
