GGuest UserI stayed at Citynote Hotel (Nanyue King Branch) for six nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the Nanyue King Museum, with the metro and bus stops very close by, so getting to Beijing Road, Shamian Island, and other attractions was quick and easy. The rooms are modern, minimalistic, and spacious, with super comfortable beds and good soundproofing – I slept really well each night. Housekeeping did a thorough job, and the front desk staff were warm and professional, even recommending a few authentic local Cantonese restaurants nearby. Breakfast wasn't fancy but hit the spot, with congee, noodles, and rice rolls that felt very local.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi – it was noticeably slow and a bit unstable, especially in the evenings, making video streaming and file uploads laggy. If you depend on a fast connection, that could be frustrating. Still, this is a minor flaw in an otherwise great value hotel. I'd recommend it to travellers who care about location and cleanliness, but business guests might want to bring a mobile hotspot as backup. I'd happily stay here again.

Very Good
GGuest UserOn this business trip to Guangzhou Tianhe, I stayed in a deluxe king room at Mehao Lizhi, located at 167 Linhe West Road. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations, and I truly recommend it. The room was exceptionally spacious – so much so that I joked it was big enough to open a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea inside! There was ample space for luggage and work items without feeling cramped, and it even had a separate leisure area, perfect for working during the day or relaxing in the evening. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in any corner. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too hard, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, helping me unwind after a busy day. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply was stable. Coupled with smart curtains and lighting, the stay experience was fantastic. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they even kindly offered tea. The hotel's soundproofing was excellent; despite being on a busy street, it was very quiet, ensuring an undisturbed night's sleep. The complimentary afternoon tea and late-night warm noodles were thoughtful touches. The hotel's location is convenient, with many restaurants nearby, making it a great value for business travelers. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next business trip to Guangzhou and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tianhe.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to UpperHills and Bijia Mountain Park. The room size is decent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. Breakfast variety is acceptable, with most essentials covered. Overall, the hotel service is quite good, but the breakfast restaurant service is very average. The biggest rip-off, though, is the hotel's spa. It's overpriced and the massage technique is terrible. I'd say it's the worst spa experience I've had at a five-star hotel! I felt like I was completely ripped off! A total waste of time, I hope everyone avoids it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the heart of Guangzhou's Tianhe business district, with landmark buildings on Nanjing West Road visible from the window. It's within walking distance of high-end shopping malls, subway stations, and major office buildings, making it incredibly convenient for both business travelers and leisure shoppers. From the room, the city skyline offers a panoramic view, with lush greenery complementing the towering buildings, showcasing the perfect blend of urban prosperity and natural beauty. The front desk staff member was warm and attentive during check-in, even offering us breakfast vouchers, a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more pleasant.
GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also close to shopping malls like Guomao and Vanke, so it's great for shopping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

GGuest UserSuper satisfied with the smart stay experience! The hygiene was impeccable—neat, clean, dry, and bright, with attention to every detail. The environment was cozy, tranquil, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The service was thoughtful and responsive, handling requests quickly. The smart home system throughout the room was sensitive and easy to use, allowing me to control all devices with a single touch.
IIrenicusLocation is superb, 2nd to none along the touristy Beijing Pedestrian Street with restaurant located on the 5th floor. There are tonnes of good dim sum restaurants within walkable distance and attractions like big buddha temple within reach as well. I would also like to personally compliment the front desk personnel 钟思晴 who has been very helpful in digging through the huge loads of parcels when I have minimal information about the parcel that was sent to the hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay, probably will return again but not during the hot and wet seasons.

GGuest UserI chose to stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an this time. The location is super convenient, within walking distance of the subway, making it easy to get to all the major attractions. When I first arrived with a lot of luggage, Xana, a guest relations specialist, proactively came over to assist me. She quickly checked me in and then guided me to the elevators and my room. The room itself was more spacious than expected, with a walk-in closet that was great for storage. The bathroom was roomy, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long journey. The room had excellent natural light, and the night view was absolutely stunning, overlooking the city lights, which created a fantastic atmosphere. Housekeeping was meticulous, and amenities were always well-stocked. Room service was also very quick when I called for items. Xana was warm and welcoming, making me feel comfortable and at ease. Her thoughtful service made my trip to a new city feel incredibly warm. The hotel excels in both its facilities and service. Staying here for a trip to Shenzhen is definitely a no-brainer.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were professional and incredibly helpful. The room was clean, and the shower had a separate wet and dry area. The location is excellent – it's just a 10-15 minute taxi ride to MixC and Uniwalk, and only a 10-15 minute walk to the Water Buffalo Milk Queen. Plus, there are plenty of BBQ joints and dessert shops nearby. My mom and I stayed in a king-size room for five days and had a very satisfying experience! I'd definitely recommend it to family and friends.
GGuest UserWe've stayed at hotels all the way from Sanya to Zhuhai, Macau, and Shenzhen, and this was our first time at a Ritz-Carlton property. Initially, I thought the service in Sanya was the best. Then we went to Macau, and it surpassed Sanya. But until we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for our final stop, I can confidently say it was the best service we've experienced on this trip. From the moment we got out of the car until we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so there was some noise, but we weren't in the room during the day as we were out exploring, so it didn't bother us. Finally, I have to give a full five-star review to Ms. Sun Jingyu from housekeeping. She noticed we had laundry and thoughtfully brought us hangers and even laundry detergent. My friend also left her makeup bag in the room, and 'Candy' from the hotel specifically called to let us know. Thank you to all these wonderful people who made our rainy trip so much warmer. Shenzhen is truly a beautiful city, and I'll definitely be back next time. Looking forward to my next visit!
