The room was nice, the service was attentive, and the facilities were complete. It was quiet at night and convenient for walking. The courtyard was beautiful and close to the Dongchang Lake Scenic Area. The service at the restaurant was attentive and enthusiastic, especially Zhang Xue, the waiter in the new private room. She was very warm and thoughtful, and we felt very well taken care of during our meal. We must commend her for this. Of course, there were some shortcomings. The disposable razor provided in the room was of poor quality, with a chipped blade. After shaving, I scratched my face and scalp several times.

Let's start with the conclusion: I stayed in a large sea-view room this time, first row overlooking the ocean. The location is excellent, and it offers great value for money.
Pros:
1. Location, location, location! The hotel's biggest selling point is its location. The Sailing Hotel boasts an unparalleled spot in the first row of Qingdao's sea view. Next door is the most expensive six-star hotel, but the room rate here is only half. Make sure to book a large sea-view room – with its panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy an unbeatable ocean view right from your room.
2. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, offering travel advice and helping to resolve any travel difficulties. Even when understaffed, they remained dedicated and diligently fulfilled guests' requests, always ready to help with a warm attitude.
3. The large sea-view room also comes with a small bar counter, perfect for family trips.
However, I must also mention the cons:
1. There's a severe shortage of staff. When I checked in at night, there was only one person at the front desk, juggling guest check-ins and answering phone calls, clearly overwhelmed. Even more surprisingly, there was no bellhop at the entrance, so the front desk staff had to double as luggage handlers.
2. Room maintenance is inadequate. Water from the shower in the bathroom would leak out onto the floor, almost causing a flood. The TV remote control also had issues, and the bathroom outlets weren't working properly. It required calling a technician to fix these problems.
3. The robot was broken and hadn't been replaced. I suggest the owner invest a small amount to provide guests with better service.
Finally, I still want to give special praise to the front desk staff. Despite severe understaffing, every single person maintained a passionate work ethic, doing their best to meet guests' needs and provide extra help. This is why I'm still willing to come back and stay here.
However, I hope the owner can be considerate of the staff's hard work. To maintain the brand image of a luxury hotel, sufficient staff is essential. Additionally, more effort should be put into hardware maintenance. I hope to see a truly five-star hotel that belongs to our own country.
A very warm business trip. The reception at the front desk was very enthusiastic. I took a special look at the receptionist, his employee number was 057, thank you. The next day, I was in a hurry to go out to do something and threw my used socks on the floor. When I got back to the hotel, the staff had already washed it for me. Although the matter is small, it makes me feel warm inside. Thank you service staff.

Coming to Qingdao for the National Day holiday, I compared no less than twenty guesthouses and finally chose this one. I was initially a bit nervous, worried it wouldn't live up to the pictures, but I was completely amazed upon arrival. The guesthouse is located in the Laoshan Scenic Area, right next to Liuqinghe Park. As a guesthouse under the Tsingtao Brewery Group, everything from the facilities, management, and staff to the hardware exceeded my expectations. To get this kind of environment for just over 600 RMB a night during the National Day holiday was extremely satisfying. The room size was perfect, with a bathtub and a balcony. It happened to be raining, so listening to the rain and watching the mountains from the room was incredibly relaxing. I ordered a pot of tea brewed by the fireplace and snuggled up with a book in the hotel, which was also wonderful. I believe there were also handicraft experiences, but I didn't have time to try them. The butler provided one-on-one service throughout my stay. Overall, it was an excellent guesthouse experience, and I'll definitely choose it again when I come back to Qingdao.

I chose the Blue Sea Hotel for the May Day trip. The service was really amazing. The lady in the lobby introduced us to the fun places in Dongying when she sent us to the room, and even told me the low tide time of Jinni Bay the next day. The lady was beautiful and kind! The front desk manager was also very nice, and sent breakfast and small toys to the children. The hotel is really big and good. When checking out, the hotel also sent water, fruits and snacks, disinfectant tissues, which was very considerate. The hotel quickly called us to let us know when we forgot something in the room. It's really good! I hope the hotel will get better and better, and Dongying will get better and better.
The guesthouse has a great overall environment and beautiful scenery. The package I bought included tickets to Mingshui Ancient City, which is perfect for this season. After visiting the ancient city, soaking in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing. The room was decorated in a Japanese style, with electronic keypad locks, smart home technology, and very comfortable floors and mattresses. All necessary amenities were provided, including umbrellas, so we didn't have to worry about rainy days. The small courtyard outside was a pleasant place to sit and soak up the sun. The service was excellent; we could contact the manager for any issues. The breakfast restaurant was right to the right of the courtyard gate, offering a wide variety of breakfast options. We could even order extra food if we wanted. The goji berry and millet porridge even had a whole sea cucumber in it! The front desk gave us a thoughtful gift when we checked out.

I chose this hotel for my business trip, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I initially thought it would be just an ordinary hotel, but it had a small courtyard and an indoor soaking tub, which was a huge plus! After a long day of work, a soak in the tub was incredibly relaxing. The room layout was well-designed, the bed was comfortable, and the tatami area was perfect for quick work. The overall style was simple yet sophisticated, making for a very comfortable stay. The receptionist, Xiao Ge, was very helpful and attentive to my needs. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in this city.

Our stay was excellent and truly exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, and parking was incredibly convenient. A special mention goes to Elaine for her wonderfully enthusiastic and top-notch service – highly recommended! We also caught the circus performance, which was great. The hotel itself is quite large; despite being an older property, it's clear the original decor was impressive and it has been diligently maintained. You can walk from the hotel's backyard directly to the beach, and our room balcony even offered lovely sea views, perfect for watching the sunrise.
However, there were a few areas for improvement. The breakfast restaurant felt excessively large, and its various sections weren't clearly signposted, leading to a lot of wandering around. Moreover, the trolleys used for clearing tables often obstructed the aisles, which negatively impacted the dining experience. Additionally, the beverage selection was quite limited, and to our surprise, there was no coffee machine – something quite unexpected and frankly below the standards one anticipates from a Crowne Plaza. I'd strongly suggest adding at least two fresh coffee machines, perhaps one near the bread station and another by the drink counter. This small investment would significantly enhance the guest experience without a high cost.
On a positive note, the small restaurant next to the circus had absolutely delicious and affordable food. It's definitely worth a visit after the show!

Weihai is indeed the most livable city
The first time I stayed here, my boyfriend praised me for choosing a hotel. The experience was perfect. The room was large and clean, decorated in a neo-Chinese retro style. The hotel's body lotion, hand soap, and toiletries were all very good, and the price-performance ratio was very high!
The balcony room I booked this time was not available in Linhai. I will stay in Linhai next time.
There is a hotel swimming pool near the sea. The sea is really clean and blue, and the sky is also blue.
There are also many things to do along the coast.
Come back and have fun next time

LLianghuoyuI kept seeing glowing reviews for the Tang Zhuang Hotel on Xiaohongshu, so I booked a stay this time and found it truly is a hidden gem! It's an all-in-one spot for dining, entertainment, and fun! Plus, they have hot springs and a kids' play area, which is fantastic!
Hygiene: The cleanliness was impeccable.
Service: The service was absolutely top-notch; the staff even helped with our luggage.

WWayne AllanMy wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were the most helpful warm and friendly hotel people we have ever seen in China. And they also gave my wife a small birthday gift which was a nice surprise. The room was huge with a nice layout, totally clean and modern simple Chinese style design. We chose this place for the idea of a hot pool in the room. It was also unexpectedly bigger that we thought, although a very basic simple design. The water was already prepared by the staff while were having dinner. Although it was an ok experience in the pool, we felt it was not really hot enough and it seemed to have no option to adjust it. We also thought such a pool would have the bubble jet option but that also did not seem to be. As we had to translate the control panel maybe we did not see other options but everything seemed to be a preset automatic one option. Although there are signs about the tiles around the pool about being slippery it felt very uneasy getting out trying not to slip and my wife did slip a little. Some kind of non slip surface on the stairs would be a big improvement. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with plenty of options. Mostly because of how friendly and good the staff were we plan to return in the warmer months to try a cabin.

MM512327****It was raining on the day we arrived. The staff warmly received us. The disinfection of one customer was just finished. There was a smell of disinfectant water. The staff was very intimate to us. The air purification treatment was very rare. The whole contact was very protective of the customer's privacy. The room was soundproof and shading. After soaking in the hot spring at night, I slept very well. Tatami mats also have heating functions. If you want to stay, you can contact the hotel in advance to release water. After living in, it is very pleasant to enjoy the hot springs directly. There are very few premiums during the holidays. If you come to Qingdao next time, I'll definitely be back.
EerrrxuanFacilities: The entire B&B is decorated with a sense of design.
Hygiene: The room is clean, bright and spotless. The glass of the floor-to-ceiling windows is also very clean.
Environment: The fireflies at night are very a**ospheric and suitable for camping.
Service: The housekeepers, brothers and sisters are very patient and enthusiastic!

AAmer MeknasBooked hotel to be close to supplier factory. However that made it far away from everything else.
You can only order delivery from 2 - 3 restaurants in the north of Jinan city.
There is a small shop for drinks and ice creme and noodles
The hotel doesn't have a gym nor massage services as advertised. The swimming pool is part of the hot spring which you have to pay to enter.
The hot spring was not that great either. 2-3 of the pools were dirty. One was even brown in color. Pool floor all gooey and slippery. (algea).
With all that said, staff were amazing. They helped me order food from hotel restaurant, they helped me order a taxi, and were very kind, courtious and supportive.
I wish trip.com checks hotel amenities better.

AAnonymous UserFinally got to experience the famous Hoshinoya Qingdao, and I'm completely blown away by this masterpiece! The location, surrounded by the sea on three sides, is absolutely breathtaking, offering a private coastline where you can enjoy the beauty of the Yellow Sea. The minimalist design seamlessly blends the hotel with the mountains and the sea; every photo you take feels high-end. The sea-view room experience was stunning – you can literally watch the sunrise over the ocean from your room, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves is incredibly therapeutic. All my fatigue just melted away. The service details were warm and professional; they proactively helped arrange a high-floor room with a view and even sent messages to remind me about sunrise and dining times, which was a lovely touch. Even though the location is a bit secluded, the tranquility and serenity amidst the mountains and sea are irreplaceable. It's definitely my top choice for relaxation!
