"a very modern and tidy hotel in a good location for discovering what agueda has to offer or a short walk off the caminho. simple check in,friendly staff,my room (404)was of a good size with a very comfortable bed,good storage,mini fridge and safety deposit box and as it was on a corner it offered fine views,the bathroom was very modern and clean,at breakfast the choice was very good as was the space between customers.all in all a lovely modern hotel."

"A very classic hotel that looks like it came straight out of a vintage TV series. It can stay this way for a while longer, or perhaps it's time for a renovation. The rooms are very spacious, the kind you rarely find anymore. The kitchen is good, but the breakfast selection is limited. The staff is very attentive. The views and the location are idyllic. It's safe to say it's a peaceful hotel."

"Reasonable hotel, we found a very good price here on Trip. Positive points: Smells good, welcome drink of Port wine at reception, some nice details, as you would expect in a 4-star hotel. Good cleaning and room service. Good rooms and breakfast. Underground parking. Negative points: We didn't like the service and the reception staff. We didn't have SPA robes in the room. It was a challenge to obtain, we were only given 2 for 4 people, and we had to ask for another 2 the next day. Unforgiven. The SPA area was very weak, the Turkish bath didn't work, the indoor pool was old and the decor was outdated. It was a special date, we made that clear several times and there was not a single attention from the hotel to the birthday people, not even a birthday candle, absolutely nothing. We would have to pay €30 to have our room decorated with sparkling wine. Because without paying, the hotel will not come forward with anything. It's a small hotel, we expected more customer attention."

"Very classic hotel in decoration and furniture. The heating was somewhat noisy which made it difficult to rest until I had to turn it off. Breakfast is good but I think it would be very useful to start at 8.00am rather than 8.30am. Very friendly staff."

"Our 3rd time here but not because we like it.We only stayed as convenient to see family near by. However next time we may book Aveiro instead. Rooms are good size but no frills and basic. Always overlooking a car park. They have better why always give crap view rooms. If you have good views used them. Breakfast. When I asked for more eggs as they look very dry the staff said they been there for a while as breakfast started early. This was around 08:45. He went away and they come back saying the eggs would be for me we sort of surprise if I still wanted which I said yes. It's part of breakfast deal and breakfast it's until 10am. We got them mixed with old dry ones which wasn't great. Overall poor experience and won't be rushing back."
