"Free parking in front of the hotel, a very warm welcome, and they speak French. All the staff were very attentive, thank you again. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection. The hotel was very clean. However, the rooms were not soundproofed; we could hear chairs scraping, toilets flushing, doors closing… very disturbing."

"A hotel with four stars given by mistake. Exterior... minimal interior stuck in the 80s! The balcony overlooks an internal street, let's say everything is very essential... including the spaces. It certainly doesn't deserve the value for money. Double bed made up of two beds and obviously sinks in the center. The non-existent pillow. Access to the swimming pool with stairs and rusty covers. Reception staff not particularly friendly. Positive note is the breakfast, I must say there is a bit of everything. The photos correspond quite closely to reality"

"The beach is not ideal, water is not directly accessible from the beach due to sea coral, one has to walk down the pier to get into the sea. The staff are very professional and wonderful, very happy with the service, good breakfast with plenty of verity. The rooms are very small, would have been nicer if they were slightly roomier. Pool service could also be improved, more verity, such as fruits etc. Evening drinks are nice with very good live music. Had dinner at the hotel once, food was good, service was a bit slow out of the kitchen."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our recent holiday at Sa Cheya. All the staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived to our early departure 7 days later! The choice of food at breakfast was extensive. The waitresses were excellent and always very welcoming each morning to the guests. They constantly checked and refilled the platters of food at the buffet. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, and again the cleaning staff did an excellent job each day. We would recommend the hotel but you do need a car due to it being set in a lovely rural area on the outskirts of Alghero. There is no hotel transport to and from town. One minor moan - the complimentary teabags are not replenished daily and there is no milk. We had to go and buy milk and teabags in town for our room, which was a little disappointing and surprising for such a good hotel."

"The sea view is really great. The sister at the front desk also helped us upgrade the room type for free. The pool view is also very pleasant. You can sunbathe on the lounge chairs all day. However, the pool is a little dirty. The restaurant tastes ok and the price is basically the same as that of local restaurants. It's just that the room facilities are a bit old. It doesn't look like a five-star hotel of this era. It may also be a common problem of southern European hotels."
