The front desk deliberately concealed this from me, completely refusing to inform me about the construction work next door that morning. I could have chosen another hotel instead of being taken advantage of. As a result, before 8 a.m., they started hammering away at the wall next door with an electric hammer, creating deafening noise that woke me up completely, making it impossible to sleep or rest.
