Pan Pacific Suzhou
"We had a perfect stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou! The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, consisting of two connected rooms. One room featured a king-size bed, a large living room, and a luxurious bathroom with a huge bathtub. The second room had two single beds, which was perfect for our two adult children. The layout was very thoughtful, with two separate bathrooms and toilets, plus an additional guest toilet in the living room. With four of us staying together, we never had to wait for the bathroom — a huge convenience! The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, featuring beautiful gardens, traditional architecture, and a pagoda, making it feel like a scenic attraction in itself. As a special bonus, the hotel provided a complimentary 60-minute Hanfu experience, allowing us to take wonderful photos around the property. Honestly, the hotel is so beautiful that you could easily spend a day exploring the grounds without leaving. Another thoughtful touch was that each room was provided with an entire carton of bottled mineral water, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, an exceptional stay with spacious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Suzhou!"
Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden)
"The location is absolutely fantastic, and it's so affordable. The front desk staff, especially the lady helping us, was incredibly kind and even gave us a gift before we left! Cleanliness: Spotless Service: They offer a free laundry room and daily cleaning."
SCHOLARS BOUTIQUE Suzhou Pingjiangfu
"This is my second stay here, and it's excellent as always. Service: They upgraded us to a VIP room, which was twice the size. My cousin checked in before me; his Chinese isn't great, but the hotel patiently explained breakfast details and other important information to him, and proactively arranged the room upgrade. Thumbs up to the hotel! After we checked out, I left a charging cable behind, and they even contacted us to ask if we needed it back. The attention to detail in their service is impressive! Environment: The location is superb, right next to Pingjiang Road, which is fantastic."
Xiangxuehai Hotel (Suzhou panmenjingqu)
"I stayed at this hotel in Suzhou last year, and I'm back again this year. 'Xiangxuehai' (Fragrant Snow Sea) is such a lovely name for a hotel. I truly appreciate the service from the front desk staff; they even gave me a complimentary breakfast. A big thank you! I wish both ladies good health and a smooth work life."
ANSHE HOTEL
"This hotel is very nice and cozy. Staff are all well trained and all of them work with excellent attitude. Overall a full marks for this hotel. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family."
Suzhou Shantangstreet Jiangnan Palace
"We are travelers from Lithuania and after visiting many highly rated hotels around the world, we can honestly say this hotel is a true hidden gem and fully deserves the highest possible rating. Our stay here exceeded expectations in every way. The hotel itself is very elegant, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The courtyard area is absolutely wonderful — very clean, relaxing, with a beautiful pond full of colorful fish that creates a special atmosphere both during the day and evening. The rooms are spacious, fresh, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything feels carefully maintained and much more premium than the price we paid. Honestly, we felt we received far more value than expected. What made this experience truly exceptional was the employee Charles. He was incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely caring during our whole stay. He always helped us with recommendations about the best places to visit, restaurant guidance, arranging taxis, taking care of our luggage, and even helped create a wonderful fish-feeding experience for us. Small details like this made our trip feel special and memorable. You can clearly feel real hospitality here, not just hotel service. We stayed as a couple and would happily return again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Suzhou who wants an authentic, elegant, and relaxing experience. Thank you again to Charles and the whole team for such a memorable stay!
Wanhe River View Inn (Shilu Branch, Shantang Street)
"The room was very clean, and all the disposable amenities were provided. The B&B had a wonderful atmosphere! The front desk staff was also very friendly and always promptly resolved any issues. We even received a fruit platter every day, and they proactively helped with our luggage – very responsible! It was a truly lovely stay! Looking forward to visiting Suzhou again!"
Suzhou Alley Jiangnan·Pingjiang Courtyardestay
"Tucked away in an alley, this B&B boasts traditional Suzhou garden aesthetics but with surprisingly modern and smart facilities. The courtyard is equipped with a washer/dryer and a microwave, and the room itself is spotless, even offering disposable towels 👍. Just a few dozen meters down the alley is the main street of Pingjiang Road Historical Block, making it super convenient for visiting nearby attractions."
Crowne Plaza SUZHOU by IHG
"The hotel has a wonderful ambiance, and all the staff I encountered were incredibly polite. The restaurant server was especially warm and attentive. My 29-month-old son really wanted a banana that he saw at a neighboring table, but the fruit at the buffet had already been changed. I asked a staff member, and to my surprise, they brought one over very quickly! Overall, the attention to detail in their service was evident everywhere. Next time I'm in Suzhou, I definitely have to stay here again! 😄😄"

Kimpton BAMBOO GROVE SUZHOU by IHG
"Traveling with my dog was completely stress-free! This hotel is incredibly pet-friendly, offering complimentary pet beds, waste bags, and water bowls. They even have a designated pet walking area on the grounds and a resident dog in the lobby that's always ready for some interaction. Overall, their tolerance for furry friends is exceptionally high. Our butler, Cherry, sent us pet-friendly tips in advance, including walking routes and where to find pet amenities. After check-in, she proactively checked in on how our pet was settling in and thoughtfully asked if we needed any additional pet supplies. The hotel's Suzhou-style garden design is beautiful and grand, with extensive bamboo groves and reflective pools throughout, creating a quiet and peaceful environment perfect for leisurely strolls with your dog. The guest rooms are spacious, with non-slip and easy-to-clean flooring. They provide a full range of high-end toiletries, a Dyson hairdryer, and a complimentary minibar. The scenic bathtub is perfect for relaxing soaks. Breakfast offers a rich variety, including freshly prepared Suzhou-style noodles, fresh juices, and Western light meals. The Chinese restaurant provides attentive service with a comfortable pace for serving dishes. The heated pool and 24-hour gym are well-maintained. The hotel's location is convenient for accessing old city attractions. With its excellent pet-friendly facilities and the thoughtful service from Butler Cherry, this is definitely my top choice for traveling with pets."
Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou
"Location: Fantastic! Right across the street from the Longhu Tianjie commercial district, which is bustling and offers reasonable prices. You can get there directly from Metro Line 3! It's also just one stop from Lion Mountain Park (the entrance near JinYing Plaza), and walkable if you're up for it. Service: They're clearly working hard, but there are so many guests, especially considering the price! Check-in lines started forming around noon. Facilities: For a Hilton, the 500+ price tag without breakfast seemed a bit out of place, and indeed, the hotel is showing its age. This applies to both the design and the equipment. So, what appears to be great value for money is really a reflection of that. Breakfast: You'll need to queue when it's busy. I recommend the freshly made pan-fried buns (shengjian) and the big meat noodles; everything else was pretty standard. If you're looking for the closest hotel to Lion Mountain (outside the scenic area itself), Nikko next to JinYing Plaza would be it. However, Shangri-La is closer to the commercial district. Food delivery is handled by robots."
InterContinental Hotels SUZHOU by IHG
"The 270-degree panoramic room offers breathtaking views, with Jinji Lake right outside the window. The misty lake surface, dotted with sailboats and graceful magnolias amidst lush greenery, was absolutely stunning! Lris was wonderfully gentle and attentive, arranging for an air purifier which kept the room dry and comfortable, even during the plum rain season!"
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
"My stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou was, on the whole, very pleasant. The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a tranquil and elegant environment that perfectly complements the Jinji Lake scenery. It’s an ideal choice whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a brief escape from the city hustle. The staff were friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere maintained the high standards I've come to expect from the Four Seasons brand. Notably, I drove to the hotel this time. The staff proactively assisted with registering my license plate, making parking entry and exit during my stay incredibly smooth – no need to repeatedly scan codes or contact the front desk for confirmation. These seemingly minor details significantly enhance convenience and demonstrate the hotel's thoughtful approach to guest experience. As a loyal patron of the Four Seasons brand, having previously stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at Qianjiang New City and the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, I'd like to offer a few suggestions based on my genuine experience, hoping they might provide some valuable input for the Four Seasons Suzhou's future service enhancements. 1. During my stay, when preparing for a bath, I noticed the bath salts packaging had already been opened and clearly showed signs of prior use. I'm unsure if this was due to housekeeping not replacing leftover items from the previous guest in time. While a small detail, it pertains to the hygiene and quality control of guest amenities. I recommend the hotel further strengthen its room inspection and replenishment procedures to prevent similar occurrences. 2. The toothpaste and shaving cream provided by the hotel have nearly identical outer packaging, which can easily lead to confusion. This morning, before breakfast, without paying close attention, I mistakenly used shaving cream as toothpaste. It wasn't until I noticed the abnormal taste that I realized my mistake, forcing me to re-brush my teeth, and even causing my gums to bleed. I suggest the hotel differentiate these products through packaging design, placement, or clearer labeling to improve the guest experience and prevent similar incidents. 3. Regarding breakfast, many comparable hotels where I've recently stayed, with basic room rates above 2,000 RMB, typically offer a 'semi-buffet + à la carte cooked-to-order' format, which provides a superior sense of quality and experience. The Four Seasons Suzhou, however, primarily offers a full buffet, and the overall variety and memorable aspects of the dishes are relatively limited. Given the Four Seasons brand positioning, I believe there's room for improvement in the breakfast offering. Whether by adding more made-to-order options or enhancing the distinctiveness of the dishes, it would better align with guests' expectations for the brand. Overall, this stay was still a delightful experience, and I deeply appreciate the Four Seasons brand. It's precisely because I have high expectations that I'm willing to meticulously write these suggestions. I hope the Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou continues to refine these details. I'm confident that with the Four Seasons' consistent service philosophy, it will undoubtedly deliver an even more outstanding and memorable stay experience in the future. Details often define the brand warmth of luxury hotels. I hope the Four Seasons Suzhou can further refine its guest amenity management and dining experience while maintaining its current strengths, living up to guests' expectations for the Four Seasons brand."
Suzhou Marriott Hotel
"I brought my father to Suzhou for the Dragon Boat Festival. The hotel has an excellent location and a large underground parking garage with both slow and fast charging. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the pool was uncrowded, perfect for a relaxing holiday."
Hotel Indigo SUZHOU GRAND CANAL by IHG
"Extremely satisfied with both the service and location of this hotel. Sylvia was incredibly warm and generous, with a keen eye for detail, always anticipating guest needs and providing meticulous service. Any requests were met with a quick response, and issues were handled efficiently and reliably. The hotel's convenient location makes it easy to get anywhere, whether for sightseeing or business, making the overall experience excellent. Definitely worth repeat stays!"
Suzhou Yinxiang Yisu Inn (Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road)
"The room completely exceeded my expectations! It was truly fantastic, so spacious that even with two suitcases spread out, it didn't feel cramped at all. The amenities were comprehensive: there's a two-seater sofa and a coffee table for dining, plus a desk and chair perfect for makeup or work. The TV is huge and the bed is super large, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The toilet is smart, the mirror has integrated lighting, and both the showerhead and hairdryer were excellent. They also have shared facilities like a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and dryer, along with a small outdoor balcony. The location is superb, right on Guanqian Street, making it convenient to get anywhere. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided thoughtful service; the owner even gave me some glutinous rice cakes, haha! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! This hotel definitely gave me a wonderful first impression of Suzhou!!"
Floral Hotel·Hanse Shanfang River Hotel
"The owner is very kind, the scenery is beautiful, and the people are warm and welcoming. It's definitely worth visiting again and again."
Suzhou Zhuozheng Yayuan Garden (Pingjiang Road Humble Administrator's Garden Store)
"The room was clean and tidy, and the private butler was very thoughtful, recommending some amazing food. Unfortunately, I couldn't visit the attractions due to a typhoon, but I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou."
Hengli UCAN Hotel Taihu SuZhou
"Comfortable spacious room with great lake view. Very clean and also stylish amenities. Delicious breakfast with variety of food. Staff is very friendly and helpful, special thanks to front manager Jessie who helped with arrangements and early check-in. Good location, near the lake, 10 minutes walk to the marina and several good restaurants around."
Garden Hotel SUZHOU
"Yingjie Hotel is newly renovated, and while there's still a slight new-furniture smell, it's very comfortable to stay in. It's incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a great sleep. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is extensive. The garden environment is beautiful, and they offer free garden tours with explanations. We even received a festive gift during the Mid-Autumn Festival! Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth revisiting."
THE HUMBLE Suzhou Shantang Street City Gate Hospitality Courtyard Hotel
"Staying 2 nights at The Humble is very near the Shilu Metro Station Line 2. We arrive Suzhou in the morning and able to check in early due to room available and thanks to the Hotel Receptionist. Cleanliness of room thumbs-up and comfortable during our stay. And have the Laundry Service too. Location excellent and easy to travel by Metro Station or slow walk. Definitely will stay again."
Suzhou Jile Tang Hot Spring Hotel
"There were urine stains on the toilet, and the next morning while I was still sleeping, someone just opened the door and came in. It was a man, which was really speechless 😅 Shouldn't you knock on the door to confirm whether the guest is still there?"
Atour S Hotel Suzhou Guanqian Pingjiang Road
"The room facilities were very comfortable, the location was excellent, and the staff were all very enthusiastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time. It's super convenient for dining, shopping, and sightseeing, as Guanqian Street is just across the road."
