BV Grand Hotel Assisi
"It’s so delicious. I was so full after eating three portions by myself. The sunset is beautiful"
TH Assisi - Hotel Cenacolo
"A really good place! So close to the train station and even the bus station to Assisi right in front of the hotel. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommended!"
Hotel Bellavista
"Fantastic for those who are passionate about animals and especially reptiles to be able to see the hoopoes in the meadow in the morning and in the evening the competition of the Geckos on the wall to eat insects there. I have been coming for many years and every year it continually renews itself kind and correct people"
Valle di Assisi Hotel & Spa
"This hotel has a lovely and catchy website, together with lovely gardens and surroundings, but really that's all. We spent 5 days there and paid 2K for a master suite that reportedly on the website, has two bedrooms despite the second bedroom is just an open space with a very uncomfortable sofa bed. The sofa bed is apparently only for kids up to 12years old, well that was only said to us once we checked in and complained. At the check in ,no one showed us the room or offered help with the luggage, we were sent to the bedroom quite quickly with no explanation about anything. The breakfast is HORRIFIC, for the entire stay I asked for an apple or a pear for my son (This hotel is marketed as family and baby friendly) and for 5 consecutive days they told me that they didn't receive the fruit delivery. The quality of food and beverages was extremely poor, literally the worst of our lives and not representative of Italian quality. The staff barely acknowledges you both at reception and in the dining areas. When you ask something they seem annoyed as if you are asking for huge favours. We also madd the mistake to try their restaurant. Both service and food were underwhelming. No baby food either was offered on the menu nor for breakkie neither for dinner (again this is supposed to be a family friendly hotel). The play areas for children outside is not well kept and the internal area is basically a conference room with small windows and very dirty floor and soft play. Very sad. The hotel has some nice touches however our room that was supposed to be the best of the selection was just about nice. The interiors clash as the room is all wood with antique furniture, but then I have the bathrooms that are al white and made of"modern" materials. They were anyway chipped and not very clean. Last but not least, our bedsheets were nest to a handful of spiders several times despite having asked to check them and to bring new fresh sheets. These 5 days were followed by 5 days in a family resorts in the Dolomites where for nearly half the price we had a wonderful huge room, 3/4 pension where the food selection and quality was equal to a Michelin starred restaurant and they also had fresh food on baby's menu everyday. With everyday different choices. This was only a part of it as they also had nursery, baby clubs, in and outdoor playing, mud rooms, trampoline and climbing walls, a wooden lab and wonderful spa facilities included in the price. Whilst at Valle di Assisi an entrance of 2h in the family spa had to be paid separately for 45wuros each adult....crazy stuff really. Conclusion, don't go to Valle di Assisi, you'll be ripped off and be disappointed. Go to the family resorts in alto adige where they know what real hospitality is."
Hotel Belvedere
"Very nice and comfortable hotel, lovely and helpful staff, breathtaking view of the valley, everything within walking distance. I highly recommend it."
Giotto Hotel & Spa
"nice hotel not far from all tourist places grate staff"
Hotel Sole
"Friendliness, cleanliness and location are the main aspects of this hotel. Next to the Basilica of Santa Chiara, near the Mojano parking lot. Renovated spacious and clean rooms. Very kind staff. If I have to give a tip, increase the breakfast with fresh bread and a greater assortment of pastries."
Hotel Monastero Sant'Andrea
"The hotel entrance and our room were a little hard to locate but the view in the room was beautiful facing the Basilica of St Francis. Lovely little place"

Giotto Country House & Spa
"We returned today, August 23, 2025, from three days spent in this truly fantastic property. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and well-organized, and the breakfast and pool were truly special. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking relaxation and refinement. Last but not least, the location is strategic, allowing you to reach everything you need while still being away from the hustle and bustle. A huge thank you for your hospitality."
Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum
"What an amazing week at Nun Relais, so grateful for the care, attention, atmosphere, service, location, room, food, amazing pieces of art. Thank you to all the staff that looked after us. A special trip"
Le Silve di Armenzano
"This is a wonderfully isolated property; quiet, restful and with amazing staff. Despite the isolatoin it is well situated for exploring Assisi and the suronding towns. The photographs capture the unique beuty of this place. The restaurant offers some of the best food I've had. For a basis we travel to Italy every spring. The excellence of service. The restauant manager takes great pride in the food and service. Nearly all the food is locally sourced. The only challenge with the property is getting there. The last mile into the property is an improved but rutted dirt road. We were in sports car and could not drive the final mile into the property. The staff generously would drive us to and from a parking lot below the town of Armenzano. The owner informed us that they are improving the road this month (May 2024)"
Country House Tre Esse
"The location is beautiful from the outside and convenient for reaching Assisi on foot in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the room was a terrible experience...dirty and the toilet didn't flush. I had to clean the bathroom fixtures with wipes, and every time we used the toilet, we were forced to use the shower sprayer to flush our waste. We're a family of four, and it was a nightmare. After we reported it, they changed our room, and the toilet, while working, was still dirty. I don't recommend it."
Sogno di Davide Country House
Hotel la Terrazza Restaurant & Spa
"The pool was lovely, the room was clean. Good value, wish they had a charger onsite to charge electric cars, I wouldn't mind paying extra."
Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi
"We could not have been happier with Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi. We were there 2 nights (we drove from Rome with our pugs, so we also wanted to mention the pet friendly aspect). It's quiet and beautiful at the hotel, and the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi looms hugely and gorgeously above the hotel (just like the pictures). It's a short walk up the hill through olive trees to the basilica and town, as well. I asked some of the people working at the hotel about the owner (an ex-footballer in Italy, if I understood correctly) and recent changes, and it sounds like they're continuously making improvements. For instance, the restaurant there is now Re Tartu, and it seriously rocked (great food, gorgeous location, huge wine list, extremely nice people working there). Now by humorous coincidence, we were in Montefalco the previous day, and ate at the Re Tartu there, too, for lunch (this was run by the son of the man who runs the restaurant at Assisi). But the restaurant in Montefalco was also excellent. The cocktail bar at the hotel has now a separate menu and drink list from the restaurant (I was told that they didn't want to compete with the main restaurant), but they were also excellent (snacks fresh from their on-site garden, smaller dishes to share, and easily enough to make a real dinner). The cocktail menu was from my perspective brilliant (or, it just happened to have most of the things I like, from more common things, Old Fashioned, Martini, and so on, but also including Pisco Sour, Aviator, Boulevardier, Vieux Carre, and others), and the cocktails were excellent in taste. And, again, the people working at the cocktail bar were also very nice and professional. And so on, I could say more, but we really loved our short stay there. Nice rooms (cool and quaint), a big lawn where we you can sit and have beverages, a limited number of room so the place never feels overly busy, and a nice breakfast (menu, not buffet). We didn't try the spa, but there is one, and it looks nice. I wish we had had more time there. Next time we'll stay longer. Thanks a lot to Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi and Re Tartu."
Il Giardino Degli Angeli
"Friendly and kind staff, great food, amazing jacuzzi"
Cittadella Laudato Si'
"Very clean room with all the necessary amenities."
Hotel Il Palazzo
"The hotel, being a 3-star hotel, was very good and the breakfast too, but the location was excellent. They just need to explain the issue of parking and how to leave luggage better. You cannot park where the hotel is located and you have to leave the car in a parking lot that is a 15-minute walk away with ups and downs and the issue of luggage is complicated."
Hotel Da Angelo
"I am completely satisfied with the service I received, in a great location in the city of Assis. The accommodations are simple, and the air conditioning could be a little stronger, but it didn't detract from the experience."
Hotel Windsor Savoia
"This is a charming old fashioned hotel founded in 1907, right at the bottom of the hill into town. Lovely continental breakfast, comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the basilica. Be warned the restaurant only opens if there are lots of people staying. Assisi is magical"
Alter Ego b&b Assisi
"One step away from the Matteotti car park if you take the Roman underpass, as life for motorists is not easy in Assisi... Well-kept, practical, top location. We stayed in the family room and there was no lack of space. If I were to return to Assisi it deserves a return"
Hotel Pax
Portica Homes
"Except there is no elevator, everything else is good."
Brunelli B&B
"Perfect location! It's a 10-minute walk to the Basilica di San Francesco. The Basilica di Santa Chiara and the Santa Maria Maggiore are also within the vicinity. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Nice daily breakfast. The host made our stay in Assisi memorable!"
