"This is a great little place just 2km outside Assisi. The gardens, pool, staff and accommodation are all excellent. The staff were just fantastic. The suite was a great size. Only complaint was beds were a little hard for me. It is across the road from a bar, some shops including Conrad supermarket and an ATM machine which is handy. It is a ten minute walk to the Church which is beautiful and worth a visit. "

Ripa Relais Colle Del Sole

"The property could be more than fine. It's a shame the owners allow their guests anything: next to us at the pool (umbrellas assigned by the property) was a couple hosting four or more adults (some of whom didn't have rooms at the agriturismo). We arrived after a morning in Perugia tired and wanted to relax, but between the music and videos on their cell phones, the shouting, our loungers squashed into a shed to accommodate all six of them and others taking turns... We asked the lifeguard to be moved given the situation but were told we had to stay there and put up with the party. No apology from the owners, the answer was that those gentlemen had guests... hotel guests??? So I have to give them my paid space? The next day they moved our umbrella, placing us in the spot furthest from the pool on a sloping lawn (where there were people who were coming in for the day, not the agriturismo guests, and you can't even see it in the photos) where the pool itself couldn't be seen: to punish us for complaining. Two more devastating days as we couldn't stay under the umbrella and watch the children in the water because they were too far away. They were supposed to be relaxing days but they were the exact opposite. PS before arriving we asked if we could pay to stay in the pool for the afternoon and they wrote NO."

"The Wi-Fi speed wasn't very good. The roaming connection inside the hotel wasn't great either. You can get to Assisi directly by taking a 2-euro bus. All the staff were very friendly. They gave us a spacious room, which was comfortable. I liked the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside village. The breakfast was simple, but I appreciated that they made the scrambled eggs fresh for us. The cappuccino they made was the best!"

Asisium Boutique Hotel

"Top stay. Central and well served accommodation facility. Very large room and bathroom. Absolutely worth the 4 stars. Very friendly staff and the room where breakfast is served is really beautiful and intimate. Overall I absolutely recommend it. Although there is no lift since it is a period building, the structure really deserves my compliments! Well done!"

Hotel Bellavista

"I hope it's a critical situation, but entering the room and smelling the sewer was unpleasant. I immediately called the front desk (a young woman who had just arrived) and went to speak to the owners, who were busy in the kitchen (they also have a restaurant/pizzeria), but they didn't bother to show up. Instead, the young woman assured them that the problem would be resolved and that there would be no room change due to the hotel being full. We returned late in the evening (everything was closed, including the front desk) and had to settle for a slightly less severe smell. The next day, we checked out without asking, as if nothing had happened. I think the NAS should come and check it out. Never again... and if you can, avoid it. P.S.: Breakfast was decent, but nothing special. The parking and bus stop to Assisi were convenient."

Agriturismo la Palazzetta di Assisi

"I had booked this Agriturismo ( Mandorlo appartement) for a 4 night stay, directly with Roberta, the very helpful and responsive host. All questions were patiently answered and we were provided with many helpful tips and recommendations 5* for service. The appartement was lovely, with a spacious lounge with a small kitchenette, table and chairs and a comfortable double sofabed, one good sized bedroom and a tiny single room and a bathroom. By the front door we had a lovely covered terrace with table and chairs with amazing sunset views, which we used for breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately the temperatures hit the high 30s whilst we were there and the lack of air-conditioning made it almost impossible to sleep, despite the 2 provided fans. We were aware when booking that there was no A/C, so no fault of Roberta, but we had hoped that with shutters closed and the the very thick walls, it would be reasonable pleasant inside. Our favourite part of the Agriturismo was the lovely large pool and lots of comfy loungers with plenty of shade, we certainly made good use of this and it was a treat to return to this oasis after a morning's sightseeing in Assisi, Perugia and Gubbio, all easily reached by car. We would definitely come back to this beautiful part of Italy and La Palazzetta, but either in the cooler months or in one of the air-conditioned units. Roberta and family you are great hosts and have done a great restoration there. Thanks for having us"

"It is a nice place but no air conditioner in the summer. We could not sleep well and up for a few times as it is very hot in the midnight. It was just like sauna in the room."
