Launceston Hotels with Bars

I really loved the cabin vibe. The large flagstones and long wooden beams, plus the springy stairs, gave it such a warm feeling, especially in winter. You can tell it's a bit older, but the heating was excellent. The location is quite convenient, and parking is easy if you're driving. Just a heads-up, there's a bit of a walk between check-in and your room, so don't rush to unload your luggage from the car right away!

This hotel offers free drink vouchers, and it's super convenient that they have laundry facilities. It's only $3 per wash, and laundry powder and drying are free, which is incredibly cheap. The hotel staff are also very friendly. The hotel's restaurant is right across the street, so it's just a short walk for meals! The whole place is clean, tidy, and comfortable, and they even provide T2 tea bags, which is a nice touch.

The hotel staffs were welcoming, friendly and parking was also included in our stay. As we are a family of 5 pax, the hotel has provided two rooms which are interconnected. This makes it convenient for us as a family to connect. The rooms were clean and tidy with great showers. Breakfast was included in our stay with a great selection of ala carte breakfast, with good selection of beverages and coffee. Highly recommended.

The Country Club satisfied all my fantasies about a western middle-class town. We lived in a single-family villa with a parking space next to the house. There are some recreational facilities, swimming pools and gyms in the club. A large supermarket and gas station are five minutes away from the club. The club is about 15 minutes away from Launceston Airport, so it is very convenient. However, the wifi in this place is very bad. I borrowed a mobile wifi from the front desk, but there was no signal at all. You must bring your own mobile wifi.

We love this hotel! We called them up few days before to confirm the amenities inside our room and also a special request too! They answered our call and sort it out super quick! The location is super convenient, close to airport. Bathroom very clean, beds are comfortable. Air conditioning maintained our room in a perfect temperature. One thing which is not important for everyone, is the dishwasher is leaking water!

We had a very early flight, and We were tired , they kindly got our room quickly ready and gave us it for midday . Nothing was too much trouble. Great meal in the restaurant for dinner and the bar and atmosphere very old world . Top stay would definitely recommend any person to book. Pauline ( Sydney northern beaches)

Stayed the night to watch The Hawks and needed somewhere cheap and cheerful. The room was small and basic but had everything you need for a stopover, fridge, kettle, microwave etc. The heater we had in our room didn't work but the staff were absolute legends in ensuring they found us one, so we were certainly cosy and warm 😁 we didn't eat a meal but did take some garlic bread away, which was yummy! Would stay again next time, thanks guys 😊

As a solo traveller just spending one night in Launceston, The Star Hotel was the ideal choice. It is centrally located and street parking was easy to find and free between 17.30 and 09.00 next day. The room itself was compact but comfortable with an ensuite. The friendly, efficient female staff member was able to help with local advice and when I decided to have dinner later, the food and service were exceptional. Three see a couple of stair cases to negotiate but really no trouble. This place was a highlight of my travel in Tasmania.
