Travelodge Bath Waterside
"Cold shower, lipstick on my glass in the bar, waited 1.5 hrs for dinner that was cold and very dry chicken, had to ask for dessert to be served as they forgot, bed was hard, room was hot and stuffy, bacon, croissant and hash browns at breakfast was inedible"
Apex City of Bath Hotel
"What a lovely hotel. The room was lovely and a good size, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were a little disappointed that the room was right by the lift and so was a little noisy at busy times but somebody has to be there. We did have a problem with the toilet seat being broken but once we informed them it was repaired in under two hours. Also mentioned the noisy room and they did offer for us to move but we had unpacked for a three night stay so decided we didn’t want to pack everything up again. The pool was lovely and although small was just big enough. It does get busy at times so do book ahead for gym and pool. The gym had enough equipment in it for a quick workout so we found it good enough. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food but the staff were very friendly and always helpful. We would definitely stay again. "

"10 out of 10 staff food location and comfort all excellent your staff are a credit to you."
Old Mill Hotel & Lodge
"The bed was comfortable and amazing. Although the carpet could be renewed. And all the furniture to either be old antique or 21st century, not 1 million years old that makes your room look a bit untidy the bathroom was great"
The Z Hotel Bath
"The hotel has been newly renovated with very modern facilities and comprehensive amenities. It's located right opposite the Royal Theatre, offering an excellent location. The service is also very attentive, making it a great place to stay when visiting Bath."
Holiday Inn Express BATH by IHG
"The hotel charges 50pounds per 24hours for parking which is not part of the cost. They have huge parking spaces, but do not give to the guests who are checked in. That's terrible. We had to park our car about 15mins away from the hotel premises. Also, breakfast items were same for 3 days (literally same things served LOL)."
The Gainsborough Bath Spa
"Good location in the city! However on site parking is expensive"
The Griffin Inn Bath
"Excellent restaurant. We were amazed at the high quality of the offerings on the small, but very varied menu. The service was excellent and matched the really comfortable decor. We were a party of seven adults and one child and one dog. We were made to feel very welcome for an early evening Sunday roast. There was no high seat for infants and no kids’ menu - so if you’re dining with very young kids plan accordingly. It’s definitely worth making any effort. "
Lansdown Grove Hotel
"Overall, our trip was just perfect. The hotel is in an excellent location with ample parking. At only £15 per 24 hours, we found this great value. The hotel is on a hill, but the buses run frequently directly outside the hotel. Our room was large and clean with everything you could need. The breakfast was fantastic and so much choice. It certainly set us up for the day. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again."

The Bath Priory - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel
"Very old hotel, understaffed, discriminatory, if you want 5 star prices, below 4 star standards, 3 star service, this will be a memorable one."
Homewood Hotel & Spa - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"I would like to thank the staff for everything they had done for me and my wife after I mad a awful mistake that is to embarrassing to go into ... all I can say is they literally made sure I was not going to be let down and time ruined by going above and beyond anything they needed to do to make my stay a beautiful one after my error ......the food was lovely and also everything was as it was in the pictures if not better something to see for yourself should you go ahead and book a stay ......."
The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa
"What a fabulous day to spend in the Royal crescent hotel! Staff service 100% Food 100% Bar 100% I would definitely recommend"
Brooks Guesthouse Bath
"Great location for parking and walking into the city. Very clean and super helpful receptionist. Definitely will stay there again."
Royal Hotel
"Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. Date of stay: February 2024"
The George Inn & Plaine
Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel
"Reception staff are very friendly warm welcome, room size is ok, bathroom is reasonable but separate taps is an issue should be a mixer tap for both hot and cold water, Great parking space, breakfast is very nice I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable on our last of breakfast the previous day i had spoken to supervisor of the day to see if they make or buy the mini Crossaints as i wanted to buy a few to take home to my sons, i was informed this is a buffet so im welcome to take as many as i want and as tomorrow is my last day i can take these fresh then, they had no problem in me doing this so on my last day i spoke to the supervisor who said he was informed re this but he doesn't allow this and spoke down to me which made me very uncomfortable as there were other guests there and if it was an issue the supervisor previous day wouldn't have said its ok and that they have done this for other guests, He then said he will not allow me to many but will give me a couple and gave me 3 in a box, i felt very embarrassed and little in that space of time, the way he spoke and his tone was not nice i felt very let down on my last day and this has left me a negative impression"
