"A very beautiful resort hotel, frequented mostly by people from DC. The restaurant is crowded, so reservations are essential; the food is excellent, and the breakfast is decent. The hotel underwent a massive renovation, costing hundreds of millions of dollars, and is much better than before. We upgraded our room, but the bathroom was still very small – typical of older buildings. The environment is exceptionally beautiful. The hot spring is interesting, but definitely not suitable for cold weather; the water temperature is low, there are no showers upon entry and exit, and it lacks the facilities found in China – it's more like a makeshift hot spring."

"Super cute inn. We stayed two nights while attending a wedding nearby. The room was nice with all it's quirks from being a historic property. We were very comfortable. Everyone was nice. We appreciated the morning breakfast delivery to our room. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the wraparound porch in the afternoon with a cup of coffee, listening to the soothing sounds of the nearby stream. The location is also ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet only 10–15 minutes from the Omni Homestead. Overall, this bed and breakfast provided a perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and charm. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable stay in the area."
