Beijing Chaoyang District Hotels

This is one of the more nicely appointed hotels I’ve seen at this price point and the attempts by management to bling up the decor doesn’t feel tacky. The toilet is auto flush via sensors, so don’t be surprised to find no flush handle. There was plenty of space for one person in this room, with its loft concept. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet in the morning was solid, even though it was largely repetitive. The only thing I can knock it for is the lack of safe in the room, my complementary breakfast I made at booking wasn’t reflected on their end, and the fact it’s in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, so a distance away from the main tourist areas. However, I wanted a hotel in between Capital Airport and the tourist areas, so I was satisfied.

I had a very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is convenient, the overall environment is cozy and comfortable, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The room had great natural light and ventilation. The staff were friendly and attentive, responding promptly to any requests. The facilities were complete and easy to use, making for a worry-free and pleasant stay. I truly recommend it to everyone!

I was very satisfied with my stay! The room was small but exquisite, just right for one person, quiet and comfortable. My favorite feature was the wet and dry separation in the bathroom, keeping the sink area and shower distinct, which was very clean and convenient. The thoughtful details made for a great experience. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next solo trip.

The location is excellent, and the surroundings are quiet, not noisy at all. The hotel's environment and cleanliness are well-maintained; both the corridors and rooms are clean and fresh. The room space is adequate, and the furniture and appliances are in good working order. Hot water comes quickly, and the air conditioning works perfectly for both heating and cooling. The bed is comfortable to sleep in, and the facilities are comprehensive and sufficient. The room facilities are new, not old or run-down. Overall, it was a reassuring and comfortable stay.

For our family trip to Beijing with the kids, choosing Orange Crystal Hotel in Sanlitun Taikoo Li was a perfect hit, meeting all our needs: location, cleanliness, family-friendly details, and service were all top-notch. Everyone in the family was happy! 📍 The location is absolutely fantastic: The hotel is right next to Tuanjiehu subway station (lines 3/10), just a 5-minute walk directly to the Taikoo Li commercial district, making it super convenient for browsing trendy shops and dining at popular restaurants. Buses right outside the hotel go directly to the Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Tiananmen Square, so there's no need for long taxi rides with seniors and kids. Despite being in the bustling Sanlitun area, the hotel's high floors provide excellent soundproofing, so no matter how lively the commercial street outside gets, the room remains perfectly quiet. The 65-inch TV supports screen mirroring from phones, so kids can relax and watch cartoons in the evening. Minibar mineral water, coffee, and tea bags are replenished daily for free, which is both thoughtful and hassle-free. The hotel is equipped with Tsinghua acoustic soundproofing, so closing the door completely blocks out street noise, ensuring the kids sleep undisturbed. Service is gentle and professional: The staff were patient and enthusiastic throughout, proactively recommending nearby family-friendly spots and sightseeing routes. They were always responsive to our needs, never intrusive but always there when called upon. The overall luxurious and quiet environment, free from noisy crowds, provided a much better experience for our elderly and young family members than other hotels in the same area. Next time our family comes to Sanlitun Beijing, we will definitely stay here again. I sincerely recommend it to all families traveling with children.

The hotel was extremely clean and helpful with putting our luggage into our room. The front reception has lots of little snacks, water, fruit juice, tea and fruit that you can take whenever you want! An added bonus was that they have a free laundry room which really helps with the hot whether during our stay. We got to leave our luggage in the hotel on our last day which helped us with be able to see Beijing for the last day, free of cost. I definitely recommend staying here. The only con I can think of is the fact that there aren’t any convenience stores near this hotel, however we couldn’t really see many in general in Beijing. M

I really loved the room type, and it was on a great floor. The front desk staff were not only attractive but also provided excellent service. I also really liked the overall decor style. The nearby transportation is very convenient, and there are tons of great food options around, so you can shop and eat to your heart's content. I've found my new go-to place; I'll definitely be back next time.

This trip to Beijing was exceptionally pleasant. The lobby offers complimentary cold drinks, coffee, and tea bags. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, plus free snacks. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were warm and attentive, greeting me enthusiastically whenever we met. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. I'm very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it! 👍👍👍

Traveling to Beijing with my child this summer, and they picked this hotel, which turned out to be quite good. The room had bright windows that allowed for some fresh air. The bedding was also very comfortable; initially, the mattress was on the firm side, but the staff kindly flipped it to the softer side for us. The room was very clean, and the shower and toilet were separated, with no hair or stains anywhere. There's also a self-service laundry room. The service was excellent, always accommodating our requests. Overall, the environment is quiet and comfortable, perfect for a short stopover.

4.5⭐️ The main highlight of this stay is definitely the location — very convenient to get around using Didi, and there’s also a 24-hour convenience store right downstairs which made everything super easy. Do note this is not exactly a hotel, it’s more of an Airbnb-style homestay. Check-in details and passcodes are communicated via Trip.com messages or WeChat, and there’s no front desk. However, the staff managing enquiries through chat were extremely responsive and helpful, especially when assisting with parcel deliveries. The room layout was spacious and comfortable, great if you prefer having more living space instead of a compact hotel room. Cleanliness was decent overall, though I do think the kitchen setup could be improved by providing more basic utensils like bowls, cups, forks, and spoons. One important thing to note is there was no air conditioning provided before May 15 due to centralized building management, which is quite different from a normal hotel experience. Another downside was the bathroom design — the bathroom window is see-through and missing curtains, which can feel awkward when traveling with friends or family. There are also many different homestay brands operating within the same building, so it’s worth comparing prices and room furniture setups before booking. Overall, still a comfortable and convenient stay mainly thanks to the great location and very responsive staff.
