There is a lovely path through fields directly to the lake, around 35 minutes walk - doesn't come up on Google maps."

"It was a great inn! It's far from the main city, so there aren't many choices such as supermarkets and restaurants, but it was quiet and nice. You can go to the supermarket by bicycle that you can rent for free or go around the lake. The number of bicycles is enough, but if I was small, I could not get my feet, and I was 155 cm, and I was barely able to get one leg. We stayed in a single room with a balcony. You can't see the view when you lie down on the bed, but you can see a great view from the balcony. It's not very soundproof, probably because it's an old building, but I think there were many calmers. The view of the lake looked more beautiful than the main side. It was great to have a sauna and pool for free. The lounge space in the basement was a perfect view and I was able to relax here before check-in. Breakfast was not a buffet but an order and was very delicious."

A street takes 10 minutes walk to the lake. Not just in the center, it takes 10 minutes more, but the walk is worth it and very feasible. Once on the lake there is a restaurant where we eat well. Alen will greet you with a broad smile and lots of tips on restaurants and activities (if you want to visit the bees at Kralov Med then be sure to book several days in advance). Our rooms were light, spacious and filled with generous extras: apricot biscuits, fizz, apples and soft drinks in the fridge, local moisturisers in the bathroom. Breakfast was a feast for the eyes and taste buds: grains you milled yourself, local yogurt, four types of Slovenian honey and the usual breads, cereals, meats, cheeses and condiments. "My experience at this hotel was consistently let down by one waitress in the restaurant. When I politely asked whether a seat was taken, her response made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Every hotel operates differently, and I believe a staff member's role is to guide guests with patience rather than assume that the hotel's specific procedures are obvious to everyone. Throughout my stay, whenever she served me, she did so with a clear lack of enthusiasm and a poor attitude. I mentioned this to the reception team, who shared they were already aware of concerns about her service. Unfortunately, I was unable to get her name, but she is a thin, middle-aged woman with bluish/grayish eyes and graying hair. This feedback is directed only at this one individual and is not meant to reflect poorly on the rest of the staff. This is such a nice hotel, and it deserves a well-trained team. I hope management can provide her with additional training to help her meet the standards that the property deserves. On the positive side, the hotel is really pretty and unique, with a great location and a varied, generous breakfast. I checked in on August 8th and arrived around 11 am; I was very grateful that my room was already ready — a truly kind gesture."

The bathroom exhaust fan is automatic, so it makes a slight noise constantly."
