RRicson HamThe hotel facilities, cleanliness, and service were all excellent, and there's an elevator. The owner and staff provided great service too! The breakfast offered was delicious. Most importantly, the scenery was absolutely stunning! The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the old town, and it's not easy to find a taxi there. Luckily, the owner offers a pick-up/drop-off service, which is paid but reasonably priced. If you stay in the old town, you'd have to walk quite a distance with your luggage and climb stairs. Overall, I recommend this for travelers who want to see the old town's night view but don't want to forgo modern amenities.

GGuest UserI wanted to escape the lively vortex of the city on National Day, and I accidentally found the river cottage, like breaking into a corner wrapped in the gentleness of time, there is no commercial noise, and there is the most simple life. And this treasure homestay, the experience far exceeds expectations, it is definitely a treasure place that will be repurchased!
The environment is a full surprise. The hand-built bucket-style structure Tujia hanging foot building is a live display of non-legacy culture. The room is large and warm (forgot to take pictures) what makes my eyes shine most is that the room is equipped with drying equipment. This intimate design is undoubtedly the most touching humanized details.
Food is the soul color here. Fresh ingredients do not need to be over-recorded, abandon the complicated seasoning, but the most authentic taste to the extreme, each mouth is solid and unforgettable, the aftertaste is long.
The service is warm to the heart. The boss and the staff are very enthusiastic. The boss personally drove us to pick us up and drop us off, and introduced the historical origin of the cottage and the museum in detail. The employees not only patiently answer questions, but also take the initiative to talk to us. There is no deliberate guest manner in the words, all natural enthusiasm; In the evening, we were invited to dance the Tujia waving, and when we stepped with the rhythm, even the evening breeze was wrapped in intimacy.
I think it is a great choice whether it is with family or friends. Eat authentic Tujia cuisine, enjoy the slow time, even the fatigue has been quietly smoothed, really recommend!

FFangfeimengxiang❤️A very good and surprising homestay, very close to the North Gate. It is very convenient to walk directly from the North Gate with a suitcase. It is also very convenient to take the direct bus back to Chongqing. You can get on the bus directly from the archway of the North Gate.
❤️The most important thing is that the boss and his family are very nice. The boss knows everything and you can just ask him any questions. The grandparents are very warm and lovely. When we got off the boat at the pier, the boss asked the grandparents to pick us up in advance. The steps are very high and they helped carry our luggage since we have a lot of luggage.
❤️The problem of uncleanness in the B&B that I was worried about before is totally unnecessary. It is very clean and sanitary. The environment is very nice and romantic. The whole house is equipped with smart appliances. The TV didn't work during the stay. The owner asked his friend to come and adjust it. I was really touched.
❤️One of the special advantages of this B&B is that it provides free travel photography clothes. The clothes in the picture below are provided by the B&B. There are other options. The B&B has created a supporting shooting environment. You can take photos for half a day without leaving the courtyard. Haha
All in all it was very good but unfortunately the schedule was tight, looking forward to next time!

The overall ancient town of Yantan was relocated and restored. It was well built. The houses are all wooden structures. Don't compare with the hotel here. The mood is the mood. CCho WahChuA trip to Chongqing is incomplete without a stay at Gongtan Ancient Town's Bashi Inn which is located at the bank of the calm Wujiang River facing the forested mountain. The Inn is conveniently situated opposite the Wujiang Cruise Centre. We had 2 blissful nights and adore the scenic view from our balcony. The room is clean and very comfortable. Our host, Ms Ran Ran, is a very warm and helpful person who had gone the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. She helped arrange all our transportation needs: arriving from Pengshui and departure from Gongtan.

The new store facilities are brand new and complete, the room sound insulation effect is very good, and the office rest at night does not disturb each other. In the Xuefengyuan in the ancient town of Yantan, I really experienced the charm of ”slow life”. The homestay is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and outside the house is the sparkling light of the Wujiang River and the stacked hanging tower, as if living in an ink painting.
**Environment: elegant and chic, see the ingenuity everywhere**
The old house was transformed into a courtyard that retains the wooden structure and blue tile moths of the traditional Tujia architecture, and integrates the simplicity and comfort of modern design. The green plants in the courtyard are scattered, and a pot of meat is in line with the simple stone road. The log furniture, hand-woven fabrics and warm yellow lights in the room reveal the owner's intentions in the details. I love the top two rooms with their respective terraces. In the morning, I watch the mist, and at night, I listen to the river and the quietness of isolation.
**Master: Protector of the local culture with feelings**
Tian Boss is a gentle middle-aged man, formerly an art teacher, tired of the world and hidden in his old house to live a comfortable life. Talking can feel his deep feelings for the ancient town of Yantan, and his own life. Of course, there are also future plans for your own preface. You can't help but admire it, so you want to participate here. The boss's wife is also a teacher and has never left here. She made a pot of local eagle tea for us, talked to you about the history and humanities of the ancient town, and there will be neighbors to chat at night, all of which reveal the simplicity and beauty of the place. Listening to them talk about the various things they have paid to restore this old house, this respect for culture and inheritance has made the accommodation experience a bit more temperature.

If you are tired of the same hotel, you may as well come here to stay. It is not only a resting place, but also a memory of time, feelings and landscapes. GGuest UserI usually rarely give comments. This praise is given to the front desk lady last night. Every time I go back to Xiangyang, I stay at his house. The room is clean and there is no smell. The cups and slippers are disposable. I use peace of mind. There is also the young lady on duty at the front desk last night. The service attitude is super good.
