RRicson HamThe hotel facilities, cleanliness, and service were all excellent, and there's an elevator. The owner and staff provided great service too! The breakfast offered was delicious. Most importantly, the scenery was absolutely stunning! The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the old town, and it's not easy to find a taxi there. Luckily, the owner offers a pick-up/drop-off service, which is paid but reasonably priced. If you stay in the old town, you'd have to walk quite a distance with your luggage and climb stairs. Overall, I recommend this for travelers who want to see the old town's night view but don't want to forgo modern amenities.

During the May Day holiday, I was going to take my baby to Youyang Red Stone Forest, and I searched for this homestay on the platform, which is very close to the Red Stone Forest. The homestay is at the top of Hewan Village, which is an original Tujia village. The Youshui River is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, and the natural and fresh. Every villager uses fishing boats as a means of transportation, which feels like a paradise. The homestay is also a Tujia architectural museum. The houses are handmade by old Tujia craftsmen. They are very exquisite and can experience the pure Tujia construction culture. At night, sitting in the yard, watching the starry sky, smelling the fragrance of grapefruit flowers, listening to the frogs and insects, and feeling at ease. During the day, go around the village, take a boat to Youshui River for a ride, listen to the boat brother telling foreigners about Tujia culture in fluent English, and have more respect for the mountains, rivers and humanities here. Due to the inconvenience of transportation, you have to eat in the hotel, which is a little more expensive, which is understandable. On the way back and forth from the hotel by boat, the boat driver helped carry the luggage, which was very enthusiastic. We arrived a little late that day. Since we didn't tell him about the meal in advance, the chef had gone off work. The boss hurriedly found the dumplings and glutinous rice balls in the refrigerator to cook for us. I was moved by this enthusiastic service again. There are no shops or pharmacies in the village. If you need to buy something, you have to cross the river to the town to buy it, so you have to bring everything with you. However, the hotel has equipped the commonly used items for accommodation. FFangfeimengxiang❤️A very good and surprising homestay, very close to the North Gate. It is very convenient to walk directly from the North Gate with a suitcase. It is also very convenient to take the direct bus back to Chongqing. You can get on the bus directly from the archway of the North Gate.
❤️The most important thing is that the boss and his family are very nice. The boss knows everything and you can just ask him any questions. The grandparents are very warm and lovely. When we got off the boat at the pier, the boss asked the grandparents to pick us up in advance. The steps are very high and they helped carry our luggage since we have a lot of luggage.
❤️The problem of uncleanness in the B&B that I was worried about before is totally unnecessary. It is very clean and sanitary. The environment is very nice and romantic. The whole house is equipped with smart appliances. The TV didn't work during the stay. The owner asked his friend to come and adjust it. I was really touched.
❤️One of the special advantages of this B&B is that it provides free travel photography clothes. The clothes in the picture below are provided by the B&B. There are other options. The B&B has created a supporting shooting environment. You can take photos for half a day without leaving the courtyard. Haha
All in all it was very good but unfortunately the schedule was tight, looking forward to next time!

The overall ancient town of Yantan was relocated and restored. It was well built. The houses are all wooden structures. Don't compare with the hotel here. The mood is the mood. CCho WahChuA trip to Chongqing is incomplete without a stay at Gongtan Ancient Town's Bashi Inn which is located at the bank of the calm Wujiang River facing the forested mountain. The Inn is conveniently situated opposite the Wujiang Cruise Centre. We had 2 blissful nights and adore the scenic view from our balcony. The room is clean and very comfortable. Our host, Ms Ran Ran, is a very warm and helpful person who had gone the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. She helped arrange all our transportation needs: arriving from Pengshui and departure from Gongtan.

In the Xuefengyuan in the ancient town of Yantan, I really experienced the charm of ”slow life”. The homestay is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and outside the house is the sparkling light of the Wujiang River and the stacked hanging tower, as if living in an ink painting.
**Environment: elegant and chic, see the ingenuity everywhere**
The old house was transformed into a courtyard that retains the wooden structure and blue tile moths of the traditional Tujia architecture, and integrates the simplicity and comfort of modern design. The green plants in the courtyard are scattered, and a pot of meat is in line with the simple stone road. The log furniture, hand-woven fabrics and warm yellow lights in the room reveal the owner's intentions in the details. I love the top two rooms with their respective terraces. In the morning, I watch the mist, and at night, I listen to the river and the quietness of isolation.

Tian Boss is a gentle middle-aged man, formerly an art teacher, tired of the world and hidden in his old house to live a comfortable life. Listening to them talk about the various things they have paid to restore this old house, this respect for culture and inheritance has made the accommodation experience a bit more temperature.

The cups and slippers are disposable. I use peace of mind. There is also the young lady on duty at the front desk last night. The service attitude is super good.
