MMaria LuisaOverall the stay itself was fine, and the hotel served its purpose. As a Rewards member, I was okay with my choice. The location was of course excellent, being next door to the main train station. There were three supermarkets on the underpass leading through the station, plus a couple eateries. As all tracks had an escalator, elevator and stairs entrance on the underpass, it took 3-4 minutes to walk from the hotel to the stairs and into the underpass and onto each track.
Service by both receptionists was overall pleasant and helpful.
Althuogh the breakfast was okay, it was not a price-to-quality/quantity equality. Management of Intercity Hotels needs to understand just how many very nice, high-quality and affordable hotels are in the area, and bring down the price of the breakast. While I want the convenience of breakfast in the hotel, I had two cups of coffee, a little bit of scrambled eggs, one small sausage and two pieces of toast....and paid 22 euro (tax included) for the privilege. If you're seriously hungry and want to eat a lot and also sneakily take sandwiches on rolls with you and stock up on the pastries, then it's worth it. It would be nice if there was a second price option for those having a very small amount to eat. It's not difficult to control.
Rooms facing the street were very quiet.

There are a cleaner kept to open my door while I was in the room and I didn't know if he do the same while I was not there. Once he caught me just out of shower. It is really disturbing?

JJingThe location of the hotel is super, directly at the train station. Thanks to good sound isolation you can hear nothing from outside. The lobby is large and tastefully furnished, but the room is very small, functionally equipped. The room offered only paper cups, no tea bag, no glass, no water, no water cooker. According to the reception, you can get glass and hot water there, free. However, I don't know if it is free with tea bag.

MMaputuoweinuoThe room was clean and the location was great, but there was no elevator, so it's not recommended for elderly people or those with mobility issues. Also, check-in uses a password provided via an email link, so those unfamiliar with the internet should be cautious. Furthermore, it's best not to order breakfast online; you can go downstairs or walk a little further to the café to pay for breakfast yourself. Otherwise, the €12 charge per guest is a bit expensive, so it's better to order it yourself.

LLIUTONGThe location is excellent, the check-in is very convenient, there is a 24h front desk. The big bed in the room is very suitable for couples, good quality and cheap, it is recommended.
The only thing that can be improved is that there is no kettle in the room. Fortunately, there is a kettle next to the front desk that can boil water. The front desk staff is very good.

SSharon AmandaOnly stayed for one night, when we attended an event in Cologne. The hotel was so convenient to find. On the S-bahn, it was 1 stop away from the central train station, and about a 5 minute walk from S-bahn stop to hotel. Lovely modern. clean hotel, comfortable bed & pillows, great shower, fluffy towels. Actually better than some European hotels that charge a lot more. I would stay again and would also look for this brand in other cities.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was incredibly quiet, and the rooms were neat and tidy. One of my favorite features was the small kitchen, which made my stay even more convenient. The hotel left a thoughtful note recommending a nearby candy company called Haribo and I’m so glad they did! The candy there was absolutely amazing. I ended up buying a lot of sweets to share with my family and friends. A big thank you to the hotel for pointing that out! Would definitely stay here again.

PPeter ThurstonGreat location - our room overlooked the Rhine. The room was good, the bed comfortable, a good size shower and good water pressure. The colour design and decor were interesting. The boss (AKA the wife) said it reminded her of Austin Powers 😅. That said, it was modern, clean, comfortable, and we would definitely stay there again.
The low overall rating was owing to the fact thst the air conditioning for the building was on the fritz. The first night was uncomfortably hot and sticky. It was fixed by our second night.
