Amazing
FFirstmanonearthIt was a relaxing stay. The front desk was so friendly (as most tajik people i met in the country, really) and so helpful. They can assist you with airport transfers and money changing. While I didn’t get to take advantage of it, they also have free laundry and apparently snacks and drinks available for most of the day at the lobby which is a nice touch. The pool was refreshing and the ambiance of the whole place was just very inviting. I used the gym which had a decent setup, though the dumbbells stop at 50lbs and the only bench for barbell pressing was a bit rough to use and unstable. The breakfast was varied, with delicious beans and chicken, grilled vegetables, various cheeses, meat slices, sausages, salad toppings, and more. The real standout personally was the dessert. Brownies dripping with peanut butter and chocolate sauce and danish with berries, it was amazing! Will definitely stay again 👍
AAnonymous UserThe location is close to the airport, so it's more like a guesthouse. The rooms are fairly large. However, the double room with a sofa faces the road, and the noise from passing cars is loud, only quieting down after 5 AM. It was difficult to sleep well. The hotel advertised a free airport shuttle service, but we ended up taking a taxi, and I had to pay 10 yuan out of pocket at the airport instead of paying the fare.
AAnonymous UserHotel not too far from the airport, very decent, more of a residential location. Walking distance to the sights. The room was nicely clean and the air conditioning worked well. The only complaint was that the cleaning lady puts away all your stuff in the drawers. I nearly missed lots of stuff because she had put them away in 5 different drawers, I much prefer people cleaning staff leaving my stuff on the desk where I left it. You also have to leave your key with her for her to clean the room and then pick up at check in desk again.
SsobirgafurHyatt Regency Dushanbe is a good international hotel that stands out in the city. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the mountains. The cleaning is high-quality, the bed linen is fresh. The staff tries to be attentive and friendly, most issues are resolved quickly.
Breakfasts are delicious and varied, but sometimes the dishes are repeated from day to day. The restaurant is generally good, although the prices are above the city average. The spa and pool are a nice addition, but I would like the equipment in the fitness room to be updated more often.
Sometimes there may be delays in service in the lobby or restaurant, and the Wi-Fi speed is not always stable. Nevertheless, overall this is probably the best option for a comfortable holiday or business trip to Dushanbe.
XxlsgldThe room was very large and new, and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service (which is a great service for foreigners in Dushanbe where ride-hailing services are inconvenient). I highly recommend staying here.
ZZiyoviddinWe stayed at Safar Hotel for 3 days in rooms 207 and 407. Breakfast started at 8:10, but it was not at all what we expected—just simple eggs and sausages, though we were hoping for a buffet. When we asked to have breakfast prepared earlier, they flat-out refused. The indoor and outdoor pools were great, and the hotel staff spoke Chinese, which was nice. However, in room 407, the toilet lid was broken. We didn’t notice at first, but in the end, we were made to pay for it. Despite our explanations, they still charged us a 150 somoni fine. Long story short, we left very upset on the last day. We kindly request the hotel owners to refund the unfairly charged amount.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a good location, not far from the city center, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. A taxi ride to the main attractions in the city costs about 10 RMB. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, and it's only a 5-minute drive from the airport without traffic. The Chinese breakfast includes three hot dishes (one meat, two vegetable, one cold dish), boiled eggs, steamed buns, and congee. The selection isn't extensive, but it's enough to fill you up. The rooms are basically well-equipped, with air conditioning, an electric kettle, a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, a toothbrush, and disposable slippers. The only drawback is that the room has a large bottle of water, but it had already been opened and I didn't dare use it. Bottled water can be bought at nearby supermarkets at cheap prices, similar to those in Chinese supermarkets. The hotel is located on the sixth and seventh floors of a building; the elevators sometimes malfunction and stop working. The hotel's Wi-Fi is unstable and frequently disconnects. This may be related to the inadequate infrastructure in Tajikistan.
