"My husband & I flew to Buffalo for the Bills opening game, & we stayed at the Buffalo Harmony House. WOW X 100000! The place is absolutely staggering inside & out. It is an old mansion that was abandoned, & Holly & Dan, the owners, have restored it down to the minutest detail. Our room was lovely & had all the modern conveniences, such as a device charging station, hair dryer, etc. The 3 course breakfasts, prepared by Holly & served by Dan, were unbelievable, with large portions, fresh, local ingredients, choice of sweet or savory, fresh pressed juices, all beautifully presented in a lovely breakfast room set up to encourage conversation w/the other guests (who soon became friends!). Our hosts provided us with great restaurant recommendations, arranged taxi service to the airport, & Dan even went to the game w/4 of us, providing transportation as well as including us all in a fabulous tailgating experience. I could go on ad infinitum but in the name of brevity I'll wrap it up by saying this was definitely our favorite & most fun vacation-ette ever!"

"The room was nice, but the breakfast was a rip-off. It cost 800 bucks more per night than the room without breakfast, but it was not a buffet breakfast at all. It was a $15 voucher for purchasing food at a restaurant that was much higher than the market price. After choosing, you had to pay tax, and after paying the tax, the waiter would ask for a tip (and the attitude of the restaurant waiter was not very good, much worse than the hotel front desk). It was terrible."
