"For a 4-star hotel, I believe the experience fell short of expectations. During our stay, there was a general power outage in the area, but in a hotel of this category, one would expect a backup generator. The breakfast could also be improved, as the variety was quite limited. As for the room, at first glance it seemed pleasant: the mattress was comfortable, but the bed frame was quite worn and parts were coming loose. On the very first day, we encountered ants in the bed. We quickly realized there was a line of ants entering through the balcony and spreading throughout the room, which constantly made us uncomfortable with the feeling that they might be climbing on us. This situation made the experience truly unpleasant. The jacuzzi was a positive point and worthwhile. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we couldn't enjoy the pool, but it seemed to be good. At check-out, when informing reception about the ant problem, they showed no concern. The only response was to ask if we had food in the room (which was true), but the problem had existed since the first day. Furthermore, in a 4-star hotel, it makes no sense that guests cannot eat in their rooms without risking an ant infestation. In short, for a 4-star hotel, there are still many areas for improvement."

"The most amazing place I have ever spent a vacation on. The owners are incredible, the staff is amazing and very helpful , the place itself is of undescribable beauty filled with nature all around us. It's my second year of hopefully many many more. I always bring my dog on vacations and this is the best place for it. They also have dogs in the compound and my dog could not be happier. If there was a score higher than 5 I would definitely give it to this place."

"We had a fantastic stay at Villa Epicurea - The staff are very kind and accommodating, and for us it was the perfect combination of informal and luxurious. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main building, with a very comfy bed and beautiful view. Breakfast was wonderful with a large variety and the "Dinner in the Oven" was delicious. We recommend booking far in advance for additional services as they weren't always available, but the cooking class we had was quite fun, and the honor system for getting wine and coffee was very nice. Also the infinity pool and various places to lounge were wonderful. "
