Catania International Airport Hotel
"Convenient location close to airport with a free shuttle"
Hotel Sofia
"Last available room, booked while on the highway from Messina to Catania. A little gem on Catania's main street!... The view from the room's private balcony, overlooking the internal courtyard of a palace like the radiant Catania celebrated by the illustrious Consoli, is unparalleled. Hats off to this gem!"
Tra l'Etna e il Mare Via Oberdan
"Very close to the city center, very easy to find, originally the email communication is very good, but unfortunately when I arrived, the doorbell of the building was broken, I couldn't get in for a while, I entered the room, and I was relieved at once. It was very warm and homely. The kind of homestay, it feels like my own home. The owner is not there, the key is on the door, everything is very smooth, there is a super classical small balcony in the room, standing on it overlooking the street view of the main street, the sun is on the balcony, the young lady who loves to take pictures is very good. I went to the kitchen for breakfast the next morning and found that the owner was an elderly couple, very kind, and made an exquisite buffet breakfast. The restaurant was small and exquisite. I chose to eat by the floor-to-ceiling windows. After the meal, I asked 10.30 to check out. I had no place to go, so I sat in the aisle living room to rest. I just witnessed how the old couple carefully did the room hygiene. I was shocked. I felt more serious than I did in my own home! At 12 o'clock they finished the hygiene, and I left the building with them. I still recommend this to my first time in Catania."
Hotel Etnea 316
"We stay 4 nights in the hotel. It's an historical building typical for Catania. If you search for new, modern furniture, appliances and lightning, your place is not here but IKEA. Instead , if you want warm people and enjoy the magnificent Sicily, this is your place!"
Hotel Romano House
"The staff at the reception were so friendly~ When I told them it was my first time in Catania, they spread out a map and recommended good places to visit!! They also introduced tours and conveniently called a taxi to the airport on the day of check-out :)"
B&B Hotel Catania City Center
"Staff there were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Thanks!"
Palace Catania | UNA Esperienze
"A beautifully renovated hotel in the old style perfectly located in the central old town of Catania. Star all spoke English beautifully the room was a upstairs downstairs loft very comfortable with a magnificent ensuite. Great views great location fantastic rooftop restaurant with bar both indoor an outdoor seating, which was terrific becauseit was quite chilly for a couple of nights I stayed there"
Town House 54
"Located in the center of Catania, it is easily accessible from anywhere, and the room has everything a traveler needs. A bed, sofa, desk, and even a small tea table with a chair. And the breakfast is the best, from fruit to coffee!!!"
Palazzo Bicocca Rooms
"The hotel is located one minute away from the old city center, surrounded by many dining and shopping options. It is recommended to stay here."

Romano Palace Luxury Hotel
"The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and very friendly towards Chinese tourists."
Nova Suite
"Clean and neat, very close to the bus and train stations, and close to all restaurants and bars (there is one that opens 24 hours right downstairs). If you plan to go to Mt. Etna, this serves as a nice base for your trip as you can meet your A.S.T. bus in 6 minutes. The only thing is that they ask you to check-out at 10 am, which is quite early, but it is written in your reservation and you should be prepared. Also, there is no front desk and so don't you plan to leave your bags for the remainder of the day."
Central Suites Catania
"The hotel manager doesn't speak English, or it's difficult to speak, basically only Italian, so it's best to communicate with him by email, but he is very enthusiastic and actively helps."
B&B Stramondo
"Unfortunately, my experience at B&B Stramondo was very disappointing. I felt that tourists were being taken advantage of, and the overall value for money was not acceptable. The stay did not meet my expectations, and I would not book this accommodation again. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend it."
NH Parco Degli Aragonesi
"Very nice hotel, in a great place for going to the beach near the airport. Friendly staff."
Hotel Nettuno
"A very dated structure that, in my opinion, needs a makeover. Everything else is very pleasant."
Airone City Hotel
"A little out of the way...but still nice"
Ollen Apartments
"very clean, very quiet, very friendly staff, kitchen fully equipped for cooking with big refridgerator, Nespresso machine with new coffee pads every day, stylish interior, big terrace, perfect for a longer stay (washing machine, dryer), cocktails in a beautiful garden"
Four Points by Sheraton Catania Hotel & Conference Center
"Very convenient place. Clean and friendly staffs. Highly recommend."
Palazzo Sangiorgio
"Superb!"
4 Spa Resort Hotel
"Upon arrival, we thought the hotel had been shut down. Broken windows, paint peeling off the building. No prompt on how to enter the building. When checking in, the atmosphere was dark, dull and the place felt abandoned. The room was awful. Nothing close to the pictures. A large room with a brown bed, brown canvas on the wall with Smokey walls. No decorations to make it feel nice - this was an upgraded room. The bathroom smelt terrible, mould & miserable. The pool was closed. The spa was closed. Nothing in walking distance. Told the beach was 25min drive. No restaurants apart from the one on site, looked deserted. We checked out after 5minutes. Asked to see the manager, not available. Had no response to our complaint. Looks like they don’t care as it’s evident they don’t care about this hotel. I would describe it as a 1 star motel of nightmares."
UNA HOTELS One Catania
"Our first glimpse of Una Hotels One Catania, arriving from the airport late in the evening in our rental car, was a big, big surprise. In an otherwise uninspiring neighborhood, behind a high wall, appeared the well-lit, imposing facade of a palace. There were no more free parking spaces in the yard, so we left the car in the driveway and went to the reception, where we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Check-in went very smoothly; we received our room key and the first information about the available services. This included an invitation to use the self-service Honesty Bar, where we could prepare ourselves our evening drinks. The helpful staff also took care of our car – all we had to do was leave the car keys at reception. Our hotel room wasn't particularly large, but the bed was very comfortable, and the balcony had a beautiful view of the sea and even partly of Mount Etna. A wardrobe was a bit lacking—we had to make do with an open coat rack with a top shelf. The bathroom was quite comfortable with a spacious shower, toilet and bidet. During our stay, the hotel itself and its surroundings were undergoing intensive preparations for the season; the hotel's outdoor swimming pool seemed ready, but the weather conditions were not exactly conducive to swimming. It's worth noting that the hotel's best performance was its gastronomy. From the hearty and delicious breakfasts to the incredible evening meals at the "Dinner Restaurant Academy." During breakfast, we were looked after by a lovely lady who truly pampered us. We were also very impressed by the work of the young but extremely talented Chef. We also greatly appreciated the care of the Maitre D', who ensured the appropriate selection of wines and a pleasant atmosphere during the evening meals. In our opinion, it is the People working at the Una Hotel that constitute its greatest asset. We would like to thank all the Staff who made our time in Catania so enjoyable."
B&B Sciara Larmisi
"I stayed in a double room for one person, haha. They don't have single rooms, but the price was still very reasonable. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in in Sicily, this B&B is quite spacious, and the room smells quite nice, apparently with some aromatherapy. Overall, I could tell the owner takes great care of it, and their mattress was the most comfortable I've had on my Sicilian trip. The location is relatively close to the city center, about a 5-minute walk to various attractions. The area is quiet at night, and the other guests I met weren't noisy at night. I also met other residents in the same building, and they were very friendly. There are restaurants with high Google Maps ratings and delicious gelato within a 5-minute walk. The owner was very warm and friendly. Upon check-in, he gave me a brief guide to the attractions and a tour of the room. I bought a baking box nearby and was worried it might get spoiled in the summer, so I contacted the owner via WhatsApp if he could borrow their refrigerator. He readily agreed and even let me keep the box in the refrigerator after I checked out. The breakfast was very homely. Although it was the simplest breakfast on this trip, I could tell the owner had put in a lot of effort."
Vivendo rooms
"The proximity to a bus stop and a large grocery store makes transportation and living convenient. However, because it's not a standalone hotel, but rather a leased portion of a large building, the heightened security can sometimes be inconvenient and unsettling. There are so many keys, including for the front door and the guest room, that if you leave your key behind, you'll be locked out. It's cold and dark...it's terrifying."
La Collegiata Guest House
"We recently spent four nights in this hotel located in a historic building adjacent to the central Via Etnea. Large, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast, super helpful and very courteous staff. A special greeting to Agata and Giorgia. Highly recommended!"
