"Where to begin? This is a magical place. We had been searching high and low for a place to hold our wedding. Although we have nothing against the 'cookie-cutter' weddings that are churned out by the large banquet halls and golf courses, we wanted something more unique. The Inn was perfect. The ballroom decorated beautifully for our theme and smaller group. The members of the bridal party each had a suite which they loved. Victoria was perfect. Present when you needed her to be but otherwise let us do our thing. My husband did all the food himself and found the kitchen to be really user friendly. Every single one of our 50 guest remarked about what an amazing venue we had chosen. They loved being able to move through out the inn during the reception. The library became the photo booth room. The dining room housed the buffet dinner. And the bar.....what a great room. The gorgeous mahogany, the beautiful piano, the comfy couches and the cozy fire. Overall the experience of staying at the Inn was wonderful and the perfect venue if you are looking for an intimate special wedding. Thank you Victoria. You will see us again. Sean has already asked if he can hold his graduation party there!"

"Firstly - the previous reviews seem to be from a long time ago. As you approach the motel it looks very much 1908s and that's what it turned out to be. The guy on reception was friendly enough and we went off to our room. It's a usual motel room with the normal facilities you'd expect. The decor and bed/chair was dated. We found that the bedsheets were clean and the bathroom and towels were clean. In fact we had a good night's sleep on the bed and pillows. The room itself would have benefitted from a full clean but, as I said, the essentials had been taken care of. The 4* ******* rating says "very good", I couldn't go to that, hence the 3* rating. "

"The room was very neat, well-decorated, and offered all the amenities described. The air conditioning felt great, the beds were comfortable, and the owner left out brochures for local restaurants, things to do, etc which was appreciated. Only two negatives people should be aware: first, place is very small. We expected this judging by the appearance of the longhouse on line so we weren't surprised. Second however is that there is a space between bottom of the door and we assume it let in a lot of spiders, as we found many of them on the walls in our second night. We put towel at the bottom of door to stop them from coming in when we were there. Didn't ruin our time, but something to be aware if you're afraid of spiders"
