Tucked away at the entrance to the Cascade Mountain Range, you’ll find a magical cabin campground.. Layered under a canopy of towering evergreen trees, this one-of-a-kind property is the perfect base camp for all your favorite outdoor adventures! Hiking, biking, kayaking, climbing, fishing, and more.Return from your adventure to a hot tub and fire pit underneath the ambient string lights, while you hear the sounds of the Skykomish River rushing in the distance.Welcome to Wild Lily - a charming place to host your next family gathering, retreat, or bring your closest friends together for the ultimate outdoor-adventure base camp. This unique property is fully stocked with modern amenities and located in a serene mountain valley. The main cabin, Wild Lily, sleeps up to 7 adults, with two queen-sized beds upstairs and two comfortable sofa beds. Aside from the main house there are two additional cabins on the property that provide accommodations. The cabin to the right when exiting from the French doors is called the Eagles Nest and has a queen size bed in the sleeping loft. The larger cabin to the left is called the Lily Pad, and includes a queen size bed in the loft and a comfortable sofa bed on the main floor. There is a shared bath house that includes indoor and outdoor showers and a sauna for the Eagles Nest and Lily Pad cabins. Each cabin offers a unique rustic charm, complete with wall-to-wall picture windows and wood-burning fireplaces. The open kitchen in the main cabin is fully-equipped with stainless steel appliances, cookware, utensils, and more. Gather at the family-style, 12-person custom dining table with booth seating followed by board games or snuggling in front of the fireplace on the large sectional sofa to watch a movie.Up for an adventure? Stroll through the charming town of Index, exploring the historic Bush House hotel, river house, or general store, just a half-mile walk from the cabin. Lake Serene, Bridal Veil Falls, Heybrook Lookout, and Forks of the Sky State Park are less than 5.0 miles from the property, with countless more nearby Central Cascades trails to choose from.Try your hand at fishing just steps from the property on the shores of the North Fork Skykomish River. Follow the river trail that leads to an island with a sandy beach overlooking the Skykomish River and mountains. You’ll also be within 30 miles of the well-acclaimed Stevens Pass Mountain Resort for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and mountain biking trails in the summer. As you return from your fun-filled day in the mountains, be sure to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities, including outdoor showers, sauna, and hot tub. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you gently swing in the hammock, relaxing with a good book or a cup of tea in hand.Once it’s dinnertime, fire up the gas grill and watch the sunset over the surrounding jagged peaks. Don’t feel like cooking? No problem! The cabin is close to several restaurants and bars, including the Whistling Post Saloon, Rico’s Pizza, and Maggy’s Family Mexican Restaurant. End the evening with s’mores, drinks, and good conversation as you huddle around the fire pit underneath the string lights.Whether you’ve come for relaxation, adventure, or to spend time with loved ones, you’ve come to the right place at Wild Lily.Guest access:Parking: There is parking for 6-8 cars right in front of the main cabin. There is also a secondary driveway on the other side of the woodshed that can be used. Other things to note:- Eagles Nest and Lily Pad cabins have small ladders to reach the bedroom lofts. Both cabins share an outdoor bath house with running hot water, showers, and flushing toilets.-Stairs in the main house: There’s no shortage of creativity and uniqueness of design and engineering at Wild Lily. Our interesting stairs, known as “Jefferson Stairs”, incorporate the engineering genius of founding father Thomas Jefferson. Don’t be intimidated by the visual strangeness, they work like any other stairs. Make sure to start with your right foot and they will feel totally natural. There are light switches for the stair lights at the top and bottom of the stairs.- Cell service is limited on the property, so we recommend you download Gxxgle Maps offline beforehand and turn on Wifi calling upon arrival. There is a landline located in the main cabin.- Fire making supplies are provided for the indoor stoves only. Please plan to bring your own firewood if you want to utilize the outdoor fire pit.For outdoor enthusiasts and amateurs alike, a trip to the Pacific Northwest should include a stop at the small, rustic town of Index, Washington. Its population? Less than 200. Though it’s about an hour from Seattle, this town is a world away from fast-paced, contemporary urban life. Index is primarily a destination for in-the-know rock climbers, but this small town in the Skykomish Valley also draws in an eclectic crowd of adventurers of all ages, families, and those who want -- or need -- to escape to nature for a few days.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 2 total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:Events allowed: family gatherings, birthday parties, weddings.Maximum event attendees: 15.
