Welcome to Payne’s Place. Conveniently located on Highway 14 North of Mountain View Arkansas near the White River and just up the road from Blanchard Springs Caverns. Horseback riding is also just up the road a couple of curves! If you’re looking for privacy in the woods, but just steps from pavement, you’ve found it! This place is our baby, but we have recently decided to rent it out, so if you’re looking to tear things up, not keep things clean, or not follow rules, respectfully, this is not the place for you. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and upkeep and we are seeking renters who desire the same. If you’re looking to relax by a nice fire out back at the custom stone fire pit, grill on the back deck, enjoy the breeze on the screened back porch, and sip coffee in the mornings on the front porch swing with the deer, this is the place for you! This is a private two-bedroom cabin with one bath including high speed fiber internet and a smart tv for those who don’t want to miss their favorite sporting events. The back porch is screened with a table and chairs and there is also a raised uncovered deck overlooking the fire pit area. Please note that the cabin is on well water (best water we’ve ever tasted) and there is not a dishwasher if that is a must for you. Blanchard Caverns Cabin & 31 Acres on Scenic Hwy 14 is a 3 br/1.5 ba modern cabin with central htg & a/c, fully furnished kitchen with full size refrigerator,dishwasher,microwave, 4 cook top stove,washer/dryer and satellite tv w/150 channels including music.There is also a sofa in the living room that folds out for a 4th queen bed if needed. The property is located on Hwy 14 just 5 minutes east of the entrance to Blanchard Springs Caverns Recreational Area( intersection of Hwys 14/87) with direct paved access off scenic Hwy 14 and 5 minutes west of the White River,Sylamore Creek Access (intersection of Hwys 5/9/14) 12 minutes from Mountain View. The cabin is located on 31 acres surrounded by the Ozark National Forest with numerous hiking trails established by the adjacent Horse Riding Stable that includes the property on its trail riding trips. The property is also close to other major National Forest Recreational Areas based on North Sylamore Creek off scenic Hwy 14 (Gunner Pool and Barkshed Recreational Areas in the immediate area off Hwy 14 and Buffalo Point Recreational Area about 45 minutes west from the cabin on Scenic Hwy 14.)Special Note: There are 2 exterior outdoor security cameras at the property with one camera viewing the front door, front deck and front parking area while the other camera views the side deck, side door and front parking area. The cameras are turned off when guests arrive and turned back on when the guests leave. There are no interior cameras.
