Cheap Hotels in Pohang

"Lahan Hotel had a great view of the East Sea and Pohang Space Walk and was very clean and well furnished. Shower amenities (shampoo, soap and body lotion) have a stronger scent than most hotels (tabacoo scented) and may be a hit or miss for travellers. Location was also convenient, with just a short walk to Yeongildae Beach and eateries along the beach street. Many buses also have routes along the Main Street which made it easy and convenient to explore Pohang. The reception staff were also very helpful and gave us helpful advice for our itinerary and plans based on their local knowledge (:"

"There was a parking space and the parking attendant was friendly, so it was good. When I made my reservation, the difference between the city view and the ocean view was about 20,000 won, but the city view was pretty good. The room was clean and nice, but.. but it was a little disappointing that there was no bathtubㅠㅠ I was looking forward to the toast breakfast, but.. I couldn't eat because I checked out early, so I only had a cup of coffee.. The coffee smelled good and it was good enough for waking up early. I would like to use it again next time"

"I was very impressed! The room was incredibly beautiful, absolutely stunning the moment I walked in. Everything was excellent. The room was new, the furniture and bedding were new and clean. The bathroom was also new and clean, with separate wet and dry areas. The location was great, breakfast was included, and there was parking available. All for an affordable price. If anyone is visiting Pohang, I highly recommend this hotel. I'd give it 100 out of 100!"

"The hotel is very cozy. The owner, a gentleman, speaks excellent English and seems to have lived abroad. The rooms are huge, breakfast and drinks are complimentary, and the hotel is very welcoming. Located right across from the seaside park, this is a highly recommended and excellent value accommodation."

"I felt like the hotel's exterior suddenly moved in Pohang and came abroad ^^ The interior of the hotel was tidy, two single beds were good and comfortable. The air conditioner was clean and the bathroom was clean as if it was remodeled. One thing is a little unfortunate is that the soundproofing is not good. We were tired and we slept well, but if you are very sensitive, I would like to think about it. I will stay again if I have a schedule for the next Pohang"

"The hotel is a five minute walk from the intercity bus terminal, but it takes about a 30 minute bus ride to get into the city centre. The room is very clean and comfortable, however there was no hair conditioner provided. Check in required a phone call to receive room information and passcode, but staff were very helpful and guided me through the whole process."

"I traveled to Pohang with my brother and sister-in-law during Chuseok. The room was huge! It was a 10-minute walk to Jukdo Market? The location was great! The staff were all friendly, helped with parking, and the breakfast was excellent! More than anything, the beds, blankets, and pillows were all comfortable! "First of all, the location is really good. It's right next to the Pohang Express Bus Terminal. Check-in is done through unmanned check-in, and I called the owner to request bean porridge for breakfast the next day. There is a coffee machine, ice maker, and hot water purifier in the shared kitchen, so you can eat and drink freely. The lobby was also very clean, but the room was even better. It is divided into a TV room (TV, table, 2 chairs), a bedroom, and a bathroom. The bathroom has a sink in the middle, and the shower room and bathroom are separate, so it was good for 2 people to use. I went to the recommended restaurant, Badaesok Mulhoe, and ate wild fish sashimi, squid sashimi, and spicy fish stew, which were really delicious. The smart TV in the room mirrored my phone, so I could freely watch YouTube, Disney Plus, Netflix, etc. The bean porridge served for breakfast was also really delicious. The owner was so kind that I asked him about places to visit in Pohang, and he told me about several landmarks, but it was a short trip of 1 night and 2 days, and it was so hot that I couldn't go to many places, which was a shame. I would like to visit Pohang again, even if it is just to stay at the Worldhouse Hotel again. I hope you always prosper and have only good things happen to you!"
