Cheap Hotels in Sukhothai

"Highly recommended! Next time I visit Sukhothai, I'll definitely choose to stay here again. The overall environment is very comfortable and quiet. I loved the pool, breakfast, and the accommodations. After exploring the Sukhothai Historical Park during the day, you can relax by the pool and unwind, which really gives you that holiday feeling. What also left a deep impression was the friendly staff. They were so welcoming from check-in throughout my stay, making me feel very comfortable in a new city. It was extremely hot when we visited, and we rented bicycles from the guesthouse for 50 baht a day. However, if it's hot, I really don't recommend using these bikes to explore the historical park. They're quite strenuous to ride, and we spent a lot of energy and time cycling in the high temperatures, with low efficiency in getting around. I sincerely recommend that visitors make good use of the guesthouse's tuk-tuk service to get to the historical park, and then rent newer, easier-to-ride bicycles near the park entrance. This will make your exploration much more relaxed and allow you to save your energy to truly appreciate the historical sites."

"Beautiful little hotel with very welcoming staff. The rooms are good size and clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was surprisingly good and the atmosphere around the hotel is nice. Delicious restaurants and convenience shops within 5 minutes walk and the main temples of Sukothai within 15 minutes walk. I would choose this hotel again. The aquarium setup is quite impressive also at the back of the eating area."

"The bungalows are cozy and clean, breakfasts are same every day without much choice but the food is not bad. The hotel is away from the road so you’ll experience all the beauty of nature. There’s no food in the hotel, so prepare to travel if you want to eat. If you take a bicycle at the hotel, do not lose the lock as they’ll charge you 10$ for it. I felt as I was being ripped off but I might be mistaken (hate this feeling!) Will not stay here again perhaps because of this particular feeling."

"Super squeaky clean bedroom but the toilet smells maybe cuz of the bad pipes… other than that it was a very satisfying stay. It is literally opposite the Sukothai bus terminal and they even rent out bicycles and motorcycles for easy transportation. Do note that Sukothai rarely has grab / taxis so it’s better to rent / or get a random Tuk Tuk on the road. They provide food too and snacks and beer. Next to their hotel there is even cooked food too! Convenient for a relaxing chill away from the city vibes"

"The facade doesn't look great, but the inside is really nice. The ambiance is good with lots of large trees, providing plenty of shade. The garden is well-maintained. The back of the property is right next to Wat Chang Lom. The rooms are clean (no conditioner, toothbrush, or toothpaste, which should be provided for this price range). Breakfast is just ordinary. Don't forget to try the Khanom Krok, it's delicious!"

"the location is very good,right in the city center,it is convenient to find food,the swimming pool is good,there is a children's pool,the play is very fun,it is a pity that there is no time to soak in the onsen.  breakfast is good,but i asked for a broken,the porridge is not very hot,the side dishes are only spicy,the children can't eat it.what should be improved is that the floor in the room and bathroom are very slippery when it gets wet"

"We stayed for three consecutive days, rented a car, and explored all the attractions around Sukhothai. Overall, it wasn't crowded, there were many historical sites, and the scenery was beautiful. If you have time, you can explore at your own pace and appreciate it fully. There's a small 24-hour Big C supermarket and a self-service laundry station within 1 kilometer of the hotel, which is quite convenient. Airports are usually perceived as busy, but Sukhothai's airport is very unique—a garden airport. It's worth experiencing if you have the chance."

"Toon was an excellent launching point for exploring the Sukhothai temples, as the guesthouse is located right in front of the main entrance to the historical park. In addition to this, both bike and golf cart rental options are available at adjacent shops. In terms of service, it's pretty good - the owner lives in one of the rooms and is usually on-site, though they do disappear now and then to live their life. Check-in and check-out both rely on trust; when the owner is out they make arrangements so check-in can be done without them. In terms of amenities, the room had a good amount of space and soap, toilet paper, and a desk were included, as well as two bottles of water (but these were not refreshed on subsequent days). The facility also offers a free toast (bread/jam available) and coffee/hot chocolate breakfast in the morning to get some cheap calories in before your day exploring. Rooms don't contain a fridge, but there is one located in the main area of the second floor (though this wasn't mentioned when checking in to my first floor room, I found it myself later). Shower pressure/heat was pretty good, and AC proved sufficient once it got going, despite the apparent age of the unit. The bed was firm, but not hard, and corridor noise was pretty low. Overall, I'd say Toon is EXCELLENT value for visiting Sukhothai's old town, and a much better spot to start from than anything in the new town unless you really think you're going to want to do much of anything in the late evening after a full day of exploring temples!"
