"I was studying sports rehabilitation courses in Lincoln and stayed at this Super 8 for more than 10 nights. The hotel staff was very friendly. There is free orange juice and coffee, which is one of my treats for more than ten days. Breakfast is very simple, no fruit. I met ordinary Americans and chatted with them. A grandfather in his 70s drove his wife to Lincoln for a follow-up physical examination. He had had corneas replaced and knew the names of the donors."

Mediterranean style bungalow is newly furnished and freshly painted.

The space
This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is just the get away you are looking for. Its biking distance to the Historic Haymarket and downtown Lincoln make it perfect for taking in the city and being a part of the action.

The space is perfect for a romantic getaway, family traveling with children or 2 couples traveling together.

The first floor bedroom has a queen size bed and closet. If you are planning on doing some work while you are here there is a small desk in the second bedroom on the first floor where you can set up shop. If you are traveling with small children this office space can easily be converted into a play room or room for a toddler or baby.

While staying in the house you are welcome to catch up on laundry with the washer and dryer or surf the internet.

If you are looking for a chill fall night by the fire you are in luck because the property has a large patio complete with a fire pit.

While you are here feel free to use the fully functional kitchen complete with stove top, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and tea kettle.

If you are looking for a gaming night or to give the children something to do, the 50 inch LED 4K UHD Smart TV in the living room is equipped with all apps imaginable for your viewing and gaming pleasure! If you are enjoying a night in with the family, there is a 32 inch LED Smart TV in the basement equipped with all apps imaginable and a popcorn machine to make an all around fun family movie night! If you are craving a nice night inside with your partner watching a movie then the bedroom is your spot. Snuggle up and watch a movie on a TV with a built-in DVD player (found in the closet).

If you are traveling with older children or another couple, the bedroom downstairs will be a welcoming space. The bedroom has 2 twin beds that can also be converted to a queen bed. There is also a second bathroom downstairs with a roomy shower and toilet. There is a storage cabinet right outside the bathroom that has all your towels.

No pets are allowed so you with allergies will be fine at this place.

My husband and I also own a ServiceMaster Clean franchise which specializes in janitorial contracts for businesses. Being in the middle of a pandemic, we follow protocols for prevention and remediation cleaning that were developed by our corporate office in Memphis. I use our team to clean our short term rentals. When turning over the property to a new guest my housekeeper does a preventative cleaning wearing a mask and has been trained on our preventative cleaning process. Here we hope you’ll be able to spend time together creating special moments for lasting memories. We’ve set the home up with a fully stocked kitchen that includes a coffee bar and other assorted drinks and a few small breakfast items.

In the living room, there is a sectional couch that pulls out into a queen sized bed if you need it. Be sure to let us know if you would like us to make it ready for you. There is a 50" smart TV (no cable) in the home with access to Netflix (just use the GUEST profile) for you to use in the living room.

In the bathroom, you’ll die over the dreamy walk in tiled shower with the cutest pink penny tile floor and luxurious rainfall shower head. Believe me, you’ll want to marry this shower and take it home! The sink is unforgettable - who would have thought a sink alone could be so memorable? There will be soaps, shampoos, towels, and other various toiletries in the bathroom should you need them. There is also a stacked washer/dryer. Feel free to do a load of laundry!

We would "whale-y" love to host you in this completely charming home in central Lincoln. A keyless entry makes check-in a breeze!

You'll have 2 bedrooms - 1 bathroom, kitchen and living room. The whole home is yours!

-THE SPACE-

Bedrooms:
We want you to have a comfortable stay! You will find 2 bedrooms in the home. Both have a king-sized bed. The first bedroom has dresser drawers in case you are staying long enough to unpack and the second bedroom has a desk. Your toughest choice is, “which room do I sleep in!” Since the home is on a busier street, we provide a sound machine, bedside fan, and earplugs to help even the lightest of sleepers.

Kitchen/Living Area:
When you are here, you will have access to the kitchen which includes a refrigerator (with ice and water) stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee bar and other assorted drinks and small snacks. There will also be a small assortment of breakfast items.

There is one 49" smart TV (no local channels or cable) in the home that you can sign into your streaming services.

We also have a queen sized sofa bed available that you can have in the living room area. Be sure to let us know if you would like us to make it available to you.

Bathroom and Laundry:
There will be soaps, shampoos and other various toiletries in the bathroom should you need them. You will also have access to the washer/dryer. Feel free to do a load if you need to.

Outdoors:
If you'd like to get out of the house for a while, you are more than welcome to make yourself at home in the large fenced backyard that is shared with the Little Llama house (also on VRBO) next door. There is a small park grill (bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid) as well as hammocks, a small play house, and a great big green space.

Guest access
Our goal is to provide the easiest check-in possible! The home has a passcode for the front door. This way you can access your home without worrying that you might disturb us meeting up with a key.
We want you to make yourself at home!!

You can park in the driveway - the driveway allows for 3 cars but they will need to be parked in a row which makes it a tad difficult for the 1st and 2nd cars parked in the driveway to leave.

What to Expect:
We will be providing a booklet with information about your stay as well as our favorite places to eat or visit while you are in Lincoln.
Please don't hesitate to ask if there is something that you need! We want you to be comfortable!

Check-Out:
Check out time is 11:00 am. Late checkout may be possible depending on if the room is booked for later that day or not. So just check with us if you are hoping for a late check out.
