The Wildflower Hotel
"I was working on the Aspen Acres Fire and it just so happened we got moved from a firecamp at CSU pueblo to the Firecamp located at the high school in Westcliff. At the same time my sister and her family would be in Westcliff for my nephew to ride broncs in the Westcliff rodeo. With the fire happening and a lot of personal getting rooms on top of the rodeo going on, there were no rooms available in Westcliff. I was trying to find a room or two for my family to come and join me as well. It just so happened that this came up on airbnb the day before this was all to take place. I called and they worked with me and got me two rooms for my wife and I and daughter. This was such a blessing and a beautiful place, especially after sleeping on the ground for over a week for me. How helpful and accommodating both the husband and wife (owners) were/are was such a resemblance of kindness, we are forever grateful and can’t wait to go back to spend more time. Thank you for such a memorable experience."
