"I came here after playing in Longyan and wanted to go around the area. I accidentally discovered this B&B far away from the hustle and bustle. It really feels like going up the mountain to practice. It would be perfect if there were matching ancient-style clothes. Although there is no hustle and bustle like the city, the B&B is still very well equipped, including washing machines, refrigerators, drying racks in the bathroom, free three-piece sets, bath towels, towels, peach wood combs, etc. These make people feel very convenient and hygienic, just like at home; the main difference is that here you can see the stars and embrace the sun and breeze. "I liked close to everything in this hotel, so I extended my stay for a second night. The location is really nice: the hotel is within walking distance to the nearby town and the touristic area although it requires crossing a main road. Staff was very welcoming and helped us find a driver to go to the more remote sites we wanted to visit (some tulous and rice terraces). The room was very clean, modern without superfluous, with a pretty view and it was very quiet at night. The horel breakfast was very good. In addition, there were a few restaurants in town. The one we picked was delicious and overall we enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of this small town."

"The hotel is conveniently situated at a junction where you can find food very easily. There is also a supermarket nearby so we could just stroll over to grab a yogurt drink after meal. The hotel room looked dated and it’s observable from the design and the bathroom, as well as the carpets. However, the room is reasonably clean and service was sincere, friendly and prompt. I sent some clothes for laundry and the staff took the effort to inform me that the clothes would be hand washed then dried under the sun so they should be ready by evening time later on. She also informed me of the pricing, then went on to ask if I was alright with that. I like it that they are very clear with charges and there is no hidden cost. Service was also very prompt. I asked for more water at the concierge when I came back from dinner and the room service staff was already waiting for me at my room door with the water by the time I got out of the lift. The beds were clean and comfortable too. My aunt and I rested well for the two nights we stayed there. The only negative was probably the air conditioner which was quite loud. But once we fell asleep, it didn’t bother us. There is also a very cute tea set in the room which guests could utilize if they wanted tea. It would have been better if they had given us four bottles of water instead of two. Then we would have been having our little tea appreciation session more regularly."

"When I went there, I had to drive myself to the mountains. The scenery was great. It was very convenient to climb up in the morning and watch the sunrise. "百侯山庄 is truly a gem addition to the town. The property is very well maintained, peaceful and tranquil. Everyone from front office, kitchen, security and housekeeping are like family and we had many lovely conversations with them. Special thanks to the chef for our daily breakfast who cooked up all the lovely Hakka dishes and even treated us to a special one on our last day. The climb to the top of the hill at the back of the property is well recommended if you have the stamina as the view is beautiful. Location wise is ideal as 百侯镇 is just across the road as well as 田园农庄 around 600m up from the right of the property serves very tasty Hakka food definitely worth the walk up. Overall our trip back to the ancestral hometown has been made perfect with our stay here. Just want to say thank you to all the staff at 百侯山庄 for making this a complete and memorable trip! (and kisses for the residential dog 绒绒)"
