"We stayed from 2 May to 7 May 2024 and we cannot recommend enough. It is a magical place that we will definitely go back again and again. Property's design and authenticity, its location, beauty of its surrounding nature, proximity to amazing sites on Lycian Way, incredibly attentive and friendly staff, heavenly ambiance, fabulous quality of clientele they get, scrumptious food they offer with fresh and local ingredients are just few of the reasons why we are so impressed by this property. They have a very selective clientele. If you are looking for a properly secluded, peaceful, authentic escape, this is it. It is on Lycian Way, in a village that is very secluded and off the beaten track. This gives you an unspoilt nature, great privacy, something that is not touristy. You can completely get unplugged and enjoy fabulous views, amazing hikes up to ancient rock tombs, idyllic nature walks, local and fresh food, amazing company of a selective clientele and more. Our stay was just marvellous and we had the most amazing time. We also made some amazing friends during the stay. It is a kind of place where a very selective few finds it, and then they go back year after year, it's that kind of place that you would always want to go back. Very very special indeed. I cannot recommend it enough."

"I’ve now taken the habit of reading reviews before booking, and in this case I honestly don’t understand the negative ones. I try to stay cautious with overly enthusiastic comments, but this place truly deserves its good reputation. I’m actually writing this review while still staying at the property. We are travelling off-season, in November, and the village is extremely quiet. It’s perfect if you’re looking to relax. You can easily imagine that in summer, with the number of tourist boats lined up along the jetty, the atmosphere must be much livelier. The hotel is located at the very end of a small and charming village, in a peaceful setting. The sea view at breakfast is wonderful. The staff is discreet, friendly and always smiling, and they genuinely do their best to make everyone feel comfortable. We stayed in a first-floor luxury room with sea view. It was spacious, clean and pleasant, with a comfortable double bed, a small sitting area, a table and a bathroom of decent size. Regarding comments about rubbish bins or housekeeping not being done, you simply need to ask. If you leave your key at reception, they will refresh the room, empty the bins and change the towels whenever you want. Many travellers probably didn’t know about this procedure. The rooms are spread out in a lovely garden. The more comfortable room categories are located in a small building at the back of the property, overlooking the valley, also with a beautiful sea view. The village has several restaurants along the jetties and two small supermarkets where you can find everything you might need. The pension also has its own restaurant, which hosts groups, but it is closed during the low season for individual guests. The hotel also offers a few parking spaces, which are very useful. For walkers, the area is full of opportunities. There is a hiking trail starting from the village, as well as many paths around the bay. The whole region is dotted with Lycian remains, essentially an open-air museum. It’s a major attraction if you enjoy visiting historical sites. There is also a beautiful walk leading to a small village on the other side of the hill, not accessible by car, with ancient ruins and a genuine feeling of stepping back in time. In short, an excellent combination of peace, scenery, nature, history and service, especially in November. A place worth remembering."

"This hotel is advertised as 4 star. It hasn't been 4 star for decades. I was booked here as part of a package. Extremely run down and poorly maintained. I stayed in nicer tea houses in Nepal 25 years ago. I have trouble giving 2 stars. The owner had very nice Prada glasses."

"We only stayed briefly as we were enroute as part of Lycium Way Owner very friendly and a very tasty and substantial evening meal. Shower quite basic and extras such as water need to be paid for. No tea and coffee facilities in room."

"A nice room with a private courtyard. A private beach with sun loungers and a magnificent view. The wasps and hornets that would fly in during meals were a bit of a bummer, but the staff did their best to deal with them promptly."
