"The hotel is very clean, the staff are super polite and the rooms are generously sized. You get free water, soft drinks and coffee at all times of the day by visiting the mezzanine on floor two, which saved some money on buying more water for the room (you get two bottles put in your room each day also) The location is fantastic, with most downtown venues only a short walk away. It' only about a five minute stroll from union station also. The only bad thing about my stay is the breakfast, it is truly awful. There were three hot things available, some mini hash browns which were all stuck together, some sausage patties which were greasy and tasteless, and some microwaved scrambled eggs. No bread products such as toast, cheeses, fresh fruit, etc... just some yogurts and muffins. I think they had those small cereal boxes, but overall it was terrible. I was expecting something much better. Don't pay extra for breakfast, go to Sam#3's a couple of blocks away, it's awesome. Despite this, I would still recommend."

"Clean, cozy and comfortable! We had a cute suite with an awesome city view and for way less than most of the hotels in the area. It’s in a very convenient spot and was easy to get Ubers to the Paramount and Welton Room. My husband and I had a great time!"

"The hotel is old-fashioned, breakfast is free, there is not much choice, and the location is average, but there are still some restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There is self-service laundry and drying, and daily necessities (toothbrush, toothpaste, laundry detergent, drying scented tablets, etc.) are available in the lobby. Coffee and hot water are available 24 hours a day. The kitchen in the room has a refrigerator, oven, induction cooker, pots and pans, and self-sufficiency is OK."

"This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in this price range. The internet connection was terrible. To make matters worse, the front desk staff were completely incompetent; I had already paid the deposit during check-in that afternoon, but since no room was available at the time, they demanded I pay the deposit *again* when I returned in the evening. They threatened to have security forcibly remove me if I refused, without even bothering to investigate the issue themselves—showing them my bank payment records was useless. Since it was late and I didn't want the hassle of arguing, I just paid the deposit again to get a room. It wasn't until the next morning that I realized they had booked two rooms for me—no wonder they wanted two deposits. Even more absurdly, when I tried to be helpful and point out the extra booking, they actually asked me to pay the room rate for that second room as well! It was completely ridiculous. I also ran into another guest who had been assigned a room that was already occupied; suffice it to say, this place is one to avoid."
