The replacement was spotless, though bathroom had mild hay odour, black/pink mould in shower crevices, and an unstable creaking toilet. Fire alarms tested twice post-check-in were disruptive for sensory-sensitive guests. Vending lacked affordable bottled water. Overall, service saves it but maintenance needs work."

"Brilliant location for Derby and Nottingham. Everything we did was in walking distance. No parking. However parking 5 quid for 24 hours 5 minutes walk away. Use Google maps. Very easy....our room 238. The windows don't open . However we got air con very mild and a big fan. The lady at the desk PAT very polite very happy lovely sense of humour. And had us checked in with in 3 minutes...couldn't fault the rooms...restaurant...or staff..everything was lovely and we plan to use it again a couple of times each year.."

"Amazing stay at the Stay Company. I appreciate the fresh milk, cereals and hot chocolate provided at the property. Everything was so clean and tidy. The little living room with a couch was very cozy too. The price is very cheap for this standard. I feel sorry for myself that I didn't find the gem earlier. But I'll definitely stay there again next time I come to Derby."

"Stayed for two nights in this beautiful country hotel. A very warm welcome on arrival and then shown to a beautiful large room, The Kedleston. It had everything you could wish for and a very comfortable bed. I was staying to visit relatives nearby but it would make an excellent base for exploring the area. Kedleston Hall, National Trust is on the doorstep and a must to visit. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, I didn’t eat in the evenings but the menu looked really good and if breakfast was anything to go on it will be fabulous. I will definitely return to stay and also take my family to the restaurant. Thank you to all your excellent staff for a very enjoyable stay."
