"This place is a gem! We had a two bedroom cabin w/another couple right on the beach and it works really well and is a dream! Walk along the beach and see Eagles, sit in front of your cabin and eat at the picnic table on the beach w/a fire pit and wood provided. There is a great beach bar for some food, ice cream and provisions if needed and everyone there was great1"

"Our studio cabin was comfortable and nicely maintained. We enjoyed our own hot tub on the deck. The fireplace was nice too. The kitchenette was well enough equipped with a microwave, two burner cook top and adequate pots, pans, bowls, utensils and silverware. An apartment size dishwasher was adequate. Our only complaint was the refrigerator was very small and someone had turned it to maximum cooling so it froze and ruined some of our food. I'd recommend checking that before storing your food. The bathroom was large, with a big walk in shower, but no tub. We were there in the off season, which was nice because there were no crowds or traffic anywhere on the island. A car is an absolute necessity as there were virtually no stores or restaurants open near the resort. Eastbay is the nearest village of any size and there were a number of restaurants to choose from and two grocery stores. Some shops were closed for the season though. We learned that once on the island, it is free to take the ferry to neighboring islands if you walk on. There is parking at the ferry terminal and you can go to Shaw, Lopez or San Juan island free of charge. "

"We stayed at Otters Pond B&B in July for a wedding that was on the island. We absolutely loved staying here. The room was so comfortable and the entire B&B was beautiful, especially the view from the back porch. I have Celiac and I told Amanda it was alright if she couldn't accommodate me, and she said it wouldn't be a problem. The food was all safe and tasted great. We wish we could have stayed longer at Otters Pond, but hopefully we'll be back again!"
