"Nice remodel. Electric fire place but no fan so no heat. Tv should have come with directions. Smoke alarm battery went out in middle of the night. No response from management about my concerns or asking for a discount due to the 4 am smoke buzzing."

"Beautiful setting on a pond in the forest, but still close to Eastsound for shopping and eating. It’s also right near Moran Park, which has lots of hikes and viewpoints. The room, shared dining and living areas, and the deck are wonderful. We stayed for three nights, so we got to enjoy three great breakfasts cooked by our host. Also got to meet a very lovable cat who will jump right up on your lap if you're sitting outside."

"Our studio cabin was comfortable and nicely maintained. We enjoyed our own hot tub on the deck. The fireplace was nice too. The kitchenette was well enough equipped with a microwave, two burner cook top and adequate pots, pans, bowls, utensils and silverware. An apartment size dishwasher was adequate. Our only complaint was the refrigerator was very small and someone had turned it to maximum cooling so it froze and ruined some of our food. I'd recommend checking that before storing your food. The bathroom was large, with a big walk in shower, but no tub. We were there in the off season, which was nice because there were no crowds or traffic anywhere on the island. A car is an absolute necessity as there were virtually no stores or restaurants open near the resort. Eastbay is the nearest village of any size and there were a number of restaurants to choose from and two grocery stores. Some shops were closed for the season though. We learned that once on the island, it is free to take the ferry to neighboring islands if you walk on. There is parking at the ferry terminal and you can go to Shaw, Lopez or San Juan island free of charge. "
