University of Exeter - Holland Hall
"Very convenient location, excellent views, friendly staff and tasty breakfast. The room is very clean but the bed is way too soft and kind of small for couples. Be prepared to walk up and down hills though. Parking can be quite full so make sure to arrive early!"
Hotel du Vin Exeter
"Fantastic hotel and a perfect stay 😊❤️"
Holiday Inn Express EXETER EAST by IHG
"Good comfortable stay when visiting family. Food and service excellent for a budget hotel."
Lord Haldon Country Hotel,Sure Hotel Collection B
"What a gem this hotel is. Fantastic superior room which was super clean, light and airy and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great breakfast. The greatest asset to this hotel is the staff. Everyone super helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. We will definitely be back in the near future as we regularly come up to Exeter and have found a great new base. Thank you to everyone who made our stay memorable 😊"
Premier Inn Exeter City Centre
"Location is good, room is big, nice breakfast Very close to city center"
Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel
"We stayed for just one night. A much better experience than we had expected, given some of the recent reviews. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had a lovely, spacious walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Our only negative was that the car park was absolutely full when we arrived at 3:30pm … and the staff checking us in couldn’t have cared less!"
Leonardo Hotel Exeter
"Staff was helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The location was near the town centre and nearby carparks."
Woodleigh Coach House
"We enjoyed our visit, but were very disappointed with the selection of cakes. They also wanted to charge 75p for some jam to go with my toasted teacake!! Also, even though I asked for extra hot coffee it wasn't."

The Telstar
"Stayed here for one night in August. Was really impressed with the Telstar. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Room was cosy (I had a single room) and had everything I needed. Breakfast was great and fab location in town for Exeter St David’s or Exeter Central station. Will definitely stay again when passing through!"
Southernhay House Hotel
"A really lovely hotel in a very convenient location close to the city centre. The room was very large with a large separate bathroom and shower. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Parking is found in a paid parking location nearby."
Queens Court Hotel
"Lovely hotel about 5-8mins from train station, great location as we were visiting Exeter University so about 15-20mins walk away. The staff were friendly and they had a great breakfast selection. Highly recommend!"
Woodbury Park Hotel & Spa
"The hotel is nice but the staff is horrible, especially those in the reception"
White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns
"First room that they give it to me was not clean, heater was half cold and make big balloting noise, Then one night after I make complain they change me in another room, where bathroom was not clean and room was smelling bad. The manager from reception was not friendly talking, like I was obliged to accept the conditions. Then they don't explain wich room is with shower and wich have bath...anyway bad experience. I don't recomand, for this price you can find better options."
Courtyard Exeter Sandy Park
"The hotel is in a good location and the services were 👍🏾"
Travelodge Exeter M5
"No reason to complain about this travelodge...lovely clean and fresh as soon as you walk in to reception Room lovely and fresh too. Staff all friendly and polite . Plenty of parking. Will definitely stay again 😃"
The Grange Court B&B Hotel
Route 2 Apartments
"We had a fabulous stay in the Monmouth apartment. Beautiful, light and airy in the heart of Topsham near the Quay perfect for a quick pint at the LighterInn. Highly recommend this as an escape from the city. I wish I could stay for longer. Well equipped, clean apartment with a nautical theme and the breakfast in the cafe was wonderful. The staff were very kind and welcoming, already planning my next trip here!"
South View Lodges
"The best place to stay by far, Jill and Andrew are extremely attentive. The lodges are extremely well maintained. They are amazingly clean. This trip we stayed in number 6 and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud, the hot tub is the best hot tub I’ve ever been in and the fire (logs supplied) is just super cosey. we spent a long weekend relaxing, fishing and enjoying the peace the SVL brings."
The Exeter Inn
"Had a wander down here while staying in Bampton. It didn't have much to offer for the length of the walk, so we sadly didn't return. The barman was lovely and served us well, but then all we could hear was him complaining about his job to other customers, which let him down. Maybe had it been busier the atmosphere would have a bit more inviting."
The Nobody Inn
"If you are looking for a charming inn out in the countryside No Body In is the place for you! Doddiscombsleigh is close to Exeter. The friendly team of Jane, Ann, Sue, Joe, Tom and Barley made us feel right at home. The rooms are delightfully decorated in bright colors and fluffy pillows. The bar is fully stocked and the meals are creative and delicious, I recommend the kidneys and onions. No Body is located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of cheerful birds. Judy I"
Mill on the Exe
"Lovely location. 10 mins walk to city centre. Great beers. Wonderful staff - the meet and greet was clear, friendly, everything you’d want for a visit. Our room was spacious with a lovely river view. Super comfy bed and excellent room facilities. We particularly appreciated having fresh milk in the fridge for tea/coffee. Would recommend and will happily stay again."
Exeter Rougemont hotel by Sunday
"Fantastic location, particularly when travelling by train. Christmas decorations enhanced the appearance"
The Exeter Inn
"The food was fine and the service OK, but be aware that the menu and pricing are nothing like what’s on their website. We went in based on what we saw on the website, and the menu was much more limited than we expected (themed nights), and the food somewhat more expensive."
