"This “Songshu Inn” (“Squirrel Hotel” on the actual sign) is next to the entrance to the “seven-colored forest” - a surprisingly fun and family-friendly place to visit in the summer, well, at least for families who do not come from the actual prairie. Mostly domestic travelers but that should be a taken at such a lesser-known location internationally. Still, we ended up staying an extra day to visit nearby theme parks. As someone who had spent more than a year in business/resort hotels all over the world, all I want to say that the hospitality of the hotel staff truly exceeded my expectations."

The two sisters are very enthusiastic, really good service, gave us a lot of help. My child and husband ride horses, and the proprietress gave the contact information. As a result, the recommended master is very reliable. The selected horse does not need to be whipped. Adults and children have a great time on the horse farm. The room was very clean and the stay was very comfortable. There is also a free coffee gift. The most important thing is that the front restaurant is also her own home. The dinner at 9 o'clock in the evening is set. The hot food made by the master is very delicious. It is very cool at night and in the morning. It is really suitable for summer vacation. The supermarket opposite her house is also very friendly and the price is fair. Children also like to eat milk berries in the supermarket. I will have the opportunity to play in the future. First, the performance in Mazhen is very beautiful, and second, it is really a good place to escape the heat, and it is also a good place for children to ride horses and play."

"I accidentally brushed a treasure homestay. Not only did I decorate the environment and have a good accommodation experience. I didn’t expect the food to be so smooth. It was actually equipped with two restaurants, halal and Hanmin restaurants, and the consideration was really comprehensive. Our family came out to play and eat. It’s a problem, I can find a halal restaurant, I didn't expect to eat halal food in the homestay, and it was very good 👍 it is recommended, the service is very warm, will come again, it is recommended"

Daidai Hostel

"I specifically booked the 'Scenic Balcony Duplex Family Room' and made a clear note in my order about bringing a pet. The room details on the product page nowhere stated that pets were not allowed. The hotel's policy only mentioned that 'loft family rooms' are pet-friendly. Given the highly similar room names, I was only informed upon check-in that my specific room type did not allow pets. Despite leaving a note about bringing a pet, the merchant apparently didn't read it, and there were no prior notifications on the order page. Being told this only upon arrival put me in a very awkward and difficult situation. While the room's facilities themselves were decent, the merchant's information is severely misleading, leading to a terrible booking experience. I'm sharing this to warn other travelers. I kept seeing recommendations for this place on Xiaohongshu, touting it as pet-friendly, but I ended up stuck at the front desk with staff repeatedly telling me not to get the room dirty, 'don't get it dirty, don't get it dirty.' It ruined my whole day and was really frustrating 🙎‍♂️🙎‍♂️🙎‍♂️ P.S. As a pet owner, I don't want to be a rule-breaker, but there was no clear indication on the room type I booked. I hope they improve this."
