Gartenhotel Völser Hof - Adults Only ★★★★

📍 Via del Castello, 1, Fie

"Communication via email was great before the trip. Clients raved about the spa and especially the breakfast. They enjoyed their massages, although they thought the Wild thyme and Swiss pine massage is just a slight aromatic oil they said- not literally any thyme or pine. It is conveniently located to walk to town, the bus and trails. Thanks for everything!"

"I had an incredible stay here ! Location and view - absolutely perfect 🫶🏻, breakfast and dinner - just incredible, so many options, the a la carte serving is divine, the menu is well organized, everything is fresh with local ingredients, was vert impressed. The staff 👌🏻👌🏻, very helpful, willing to speak with great details. The room - 🤌🏻❤️, super clean, comfy bed, great shower, all covered in wood, classy and so nice. A lot of parking places - outside and underground, daily snacks with sweets and freshly baked pizza - I could’t understand why this is not a 5 star establishment. Highly recommend it !!"

"Stay very pleasant. Unfortunately, I found myself in the season when parents came with children who made noise, but it was not very annoying. Food good, hotel service excellent. 3 types of saunas plus a swimming pool and jacuzzi. I recommend."

Romantik Hotel Turm ★★★★★
"We stayed for one week in May 2026 at Romantik Turm, and unfortunately this visit became one of the most distressing experiences we have ever had while travelling as a family. Our 9‑month‑old baby had been crying earlier – something completely normal for an infant. A short time later, my wife was suddenly shouted at in the hallway on the second floor by another female guest. The shouting was so loud that it was heard all the way down at the reception on the ground floor, where staff later apologised to us for what had happened. What shocked us most were two sentences that carried a clearly discriminatory and xenophobic tone: “You don’t belong here.” and, directed at my wife who is an English native speaker: “Do you even speak German?”My wife stood there with our baby in her arms, completely intimidated and shaken. From that moment on, we had to leave our room or the spa area every time this family appeared. We avoided the hotel during the day – and even skipped dinner – simply to prevent another confrontation. This is not a feeling of safety or comfort one expects in a hotel of this category. What affected us even more than the incident itself was the hotel’s reaction. There was no support, no follow‑up, no protection offered to us.In our written complaint, the situation was downplayed. The hotel owner stated that such things can “happen”, that he would only intervene if things became physical, and that he “does not need us”.The hotel also claimed in writing that they had contacted the commander of the Carabinieri beforehand. We visited the Carabinieri ourselves today – they confirmed that the hotel did not contact them at any point. For us, this was a clear failure of duty of care, especially towards a mother with a baby.We travel a lot, but we have never felt so abandoned by a hotel. The full email correspondence with the hotel is available and can be provided if required."

Parc Hotel Miramonti ★★★★
"The whole experience was wonderful - from the spectacular location in the shadow of Schlern to the fabulous five course meals, great facilities and first class service. It was the perfect location for accessing Alpa de Suissi and the Val Gardina, which are out of this world. The 170 bus stop is 100m away and the included mobilpass works well to get to attractions as well as to and from train connections in Bolzano. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the little town of Seis and the dining room shared the same wonderful view. Dining was well organised and the dishes creative and plentiful. The swimming pool in such a picturesque location was exceptionally attractive. Staff were incredibly obliging. Adrian in the dining area went above and beyond, including arriving early to ensure we had food packed in lieu of breakfast when we needed an early departure and helping to ensure I had regular icepack for an injured ankle. Vasile, at dinner time was very obliging as well. Room servicing was consistently excellent. Parc Hotel Miramonte undoubtedly deserves a five star rating!"

Hotel Heubad ★★★
"To say that it is a family-run hotel could sound reductive, it is a very beautiful and well managed structure, with very common curate areas (for example the bar), a great kitchen and very gentle staff. Logistically, it is very short from two different stops of such ski buses that lead to the Alps of Siusi in a decade. Selva and S. Cristina are about half an hour drive. Absolutely recommended."

"Your review has a great foundation. I tightened the language, improved the flow, and preserved the sincerity and specific details that make it feel authentic rather than promotional. First and most importantly, this is a five-star experience in every sense of the word. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but when a place truly goes above and beyond with its hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care for its guests, I believe it deserves to be recognized. Before traveling from the United States to Italy, I spent countless hours researching where our family should stay. We weren’t looking for a large luxury resort—we wanted something intimate, off the beaten path, surrounded by nature, full of warmth, and centered around an active, healthy lifestyle. Without any recommendations or word of mouth, I happened to discover the GFELL Hotel, and it turned out to be one of the best travel decisions we’ve ever made. This charming 17-room hidden gem perfectly reflects the warmth, heritage, and hospitality of the Mair family. From the moment we arrived late on a Sunday evening after significant travel delays, we were welcomed personally by Julian Mair, who greeted us with genuine kindness and even prepared an incredible charcuterie spread to ensure our family didn’t go to bed hungry after learning there were no restaurants still open nearby. That simple gesture set the tone for the entire week. The property itself is exactly as pictured—if not better. The beautifully restored farmhouse and thoughtfully designed hotel, seamlessly built into the hillside, are architectural masterpieces that blend modern comfort with the surrounding landscape. Every detail feels intentional. The rooms are immaculate, the common spaces are elegant without being pretentious, and the entire property radiates warmth. More importantly, you immediately sense that the people caring for this hotel genuinely love what they do and are passionate about preserving their family’s traditions and South Tyrolean culture. Every morning I looked forward to stepping outside the front door for a hike or trail run through the surrounding forests and meadows before returning for what became one of my favorite breakfasts anywhere in the world. Fresh whole foods, homemade specialties, freshly pressed juices, local cheeses, and incredible charcuterie—many of the meats sourced through the Mair family’s own butcher—made every breakfast memorable. The location could not have been more perfect. It offers peace, privacy, and an authentic connection with nature while remaining incredibly convenient to explore the Dolomites. We were able to access an extensive network of hiking trails directly from the hotel without needing to drive, yet some of the region’s most iconic destinations were only a short distance away. It truly offers the best of both worlds: tranquility without isolation. What impressed me most, however, was not the architecture, the scenery, or even the incredible food. It w"
