"The old hotel has been renovated and is probably a very small and comfortable hotel. The lobby, facade and room layout are all light and luxurious, but the bathroom seems to have been forgotten and does not match the style of the room at all. It is a bit out of place."

"Old and not maintained (spiderwebs all over the lawns in between the various buildings; our room came ‘equipped’ with a leftover flosser and socks on the floor from the previous occupants, sink was clogged, ancient air conditioning unit). They did say they have a pool, access to kayaks, paddleboards and whatnot, we only stayed one night and it rained so we didn’t use any of it. By the water so a bit of a view. Will do the job in a pinch (given that there are only 2 hotels in Southport, not a lot of options to choose from; would definitely recommend Newagen over this one or choose something in Boothbay)."
