"Everything at this place was wonderful- the people, the rooms, & the location! The staff here are wonderful- so welcoming- going above and beyond to make your stay perfect! The rooms are the perfect size and felt like we were at home. The location is a block off of the main street of Gettysburg- so it is quiet & relaxing- which we enjoyed so much! We'd definitely stay here again! The breakfast we had was delicious as well. We also loved the cookies each day- such a sweet treat!"

"Laura and Ron are exceptional hosts. we arrived late, and had to ring them. Laura came down, showed us through the house. Explained the history of the 210-year-old house and showed us to our room which had recently been fully renovated. We stayed in the Felty room, which occupied the front street facing room of the house. The beautiful detail and renovations that Laura and Ron have achieved is unbelievable. When restoring our room they had discovered a scratching in the original lining of the wall. This was framed and highlighted as a feature. The bed was the best and most comfortable bed. The pillows matched the mattress so comfortable. In the morning we took tea and coffee in the sitting room whilst we awaited our freshly home-cooked meal made by Laura and Ron. over breakfast we chatted with fellow guests and enjoyed Laura‘s home-cooked French toast and Ron‘s bacon & eggs & sausage all locally sourced. Laura dressed in period costume whilst she serviced and cleared our table at breakfast. Her hospitality friendship and warmness was second to none can only highly recommend a stay here. The house and sitting rooms are decorated with items found from within the house walls, attic and beneath the house fully displaying the true history of the house and all the stories it holds along with a personal collection from Laura. It’s an amazing distraction in a beautifully decorated house."
