Gyeongju Hostels

I hate to give a bad review but this staff member was probably the worst I ever came across. Be aware the check in is 10pm - much later than others. The room itself was fine, very happy and wanted to extend, but the staff member insisted checking out, then coming back at 10pm, even with extension. When I asked him, he said “it’s not my business”. Terrible attitude. He then tried to charge 20,000 cash for keeping the “free upgrade” I was given. No idea why you give with one hand and take with the other. Had to complain and argue and even still they refused refund for second day. Took me 3 hours or messaging to get money back. Just avoid. Sadly a great place, location so so but the staff member we dealt with was the worst person I’ve met in Korea.

Large spacious room, with comfortable bed, good Internet. Location was perfect to access attractions, bus stops, Restaurants and shops. Front counter staff were very friendly and helpful, giving baggage storage prior to check in. Cleaning staff did a great job and always smiling. Very clean refreshing hotel

Clean & comfortable. Very spacious bathroom with a bathtub. The 6th floor room offers a fantastic city view plus a message chair. About 8 minutes walk to the Intercity bus station & Express bus station. Nearby many bus stops. Closes to the central market where there are many easterlies. A warm & considerate young staff makes you feel at home. The very small reception area & lack of photos of the hotel exterior at a booking platform may make the outsiders overlook its high quality rooms.

The hotel was conveniently located near the bus terminal, making it easy to get around anywhere. There were Starbucks, Burger King, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, and Hwangridan-gil was only about a 10-minute walk away, offering plenty of great food and things to see. The free breakfast was very simple, but they even provided ramen. I also bought boiled eggs and kimbap from a nearby convenience store, so I could enjoy a filling breakfast. They provided unlimited bottled water and free sheet masks, which was a nice touch. There were also massage machines and foot spa machines available, which helped relieve my tired body after a long day. Overall, it was a very comfortable and satisfying stay.

This was my first trip with friends since we became adults, and thanks to this accommodation, it started and ended on a high note! I was a little worried because the price wasn't high, but there was absolutely no need to be. It was super clean and the owner was so friendly, making for a very pleasant stay!!

I stayed for three nights and the ideal would have been to stay for longer as it takes awhile to become oriented to all the sites in the region surrounding Gyeongju. The hotel is among many others in a rather uninspiring part of town, yet close to the central transit bus stop and the inter-city bus station. About 20 minutes walk from the upscale, trendy restaurant area. A large modern suite with workspace and a comfortable bed but the treat was a massage chair - first time ever seen in a hotel room. On the other hand, the lights from all the gadgets distracts one's sleep, and could be masked. Frankly, the breakfast fate is repetitive and unimaginative. Skipped third morning to find healthier fare elsewhere.

This was a business trip so the location was perfect for my needs, however it's also very close to Gyeongju World Amusement Park if you staying for leisure. It is worth noting though that this location is just outside of Gyeongju city. The hotel and room itself were very clean and included most of the basics including a bar fridge with some drinks, instant coffee mixes, tea and cup noodles. The service itself was great, but the room and bed are not remade each day. However, amenities are replenished daily, such as the removal and replacement of used towels, trash cans and the drinks, coffee, tea and cup noodles. Overall, a great stay.

The on-site restaurant served delicious food with a great variety of options, and the breakfast buffet was simply outstanding – fresh, diverse, and of high quality. The location of the hotel was also a huge plus. It was conveniently situated near major attractions, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being in a central location, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect balance between accessibility and relaxation. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure guests had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit! Very nice people. Room was ready early, it was clean, well equipped and the area was super close to the temple complex. Walking distance. Food options also nearby. However there is no lift, so request low room if you have heavy bags, very short walk to temple area where you can take some great photos

Because it's a holiday visit in May, the price is more expensive than other days Because other places are also higher, so not only here, so the price pass ~ ~ The location is far from the tourist spots. It's suitable for sleeping after sightseeing. The motel has a preconception that it is usually dark, so I was worried about staying with my child, but the interior atmosphere was better than I thought. I could eat coffee, cup noodles, eggs, bread, and so on for breakfast. If you stay at the same price, you won't go, but if it costs 100,000 won, I think I'll consider visiting again.
