"Great location, close to food options, bus services and taxi companies. Tidy, clean and convenient communal facilities. Basic but brilliant accommodation option for anyone. A couple of staircases to climb, but no issue as handrail."

Bricks Hotel boasts an excellent location near Tanah Rata town center, with restaurants, convenience stores, and the bus terminal all within easy walking distance, making getting around super convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the environment is quiet, and while the facilities are basic, they're complete – perfect for backpackers, couples, and budget travelers. The staff are friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it was a good stay with great value for money, making it a worthwhile option when visiting Cameron Highlands.
I booked the bunker bed for one night in mixed gender dorm. The location is great. Right next to the Cameron Highland clock tower thingy. It was clean and had a dedicated fan which was really good to have. The atmosphere was amazing. Everything smelled good. There was enough luggage storage space available and a personal safe/locker as well (included in the booking). Dining area, waiting lounge, kitchen and toilets were up to the mark for me (considering it’s a budget stay). Nothing super fancy but, all I wanted was a good night sleep before next day. Hotel staff is super easy on you.
You can find food or anything easily and it’s just a short walk away.
Just two things I’d like to suggest:
1. Using toilet barefoot isn’t my thing. Having a pair of slippers would’ve been great.
2. I didn’t bring any personal towel with me cuz normally hotel provides them but they didn’t.

Honest review: I think this place is worth the money if you aren't so spoilt for hotel stays or resorts where you pay the money for the experience of the stay. Instead here you pay for the stay and to sleep; that's it. There's everything you need for you to get by to stay for the night/s you stay.
I stayed for one day here and only came back to the hotel at night and slept. Some guests complained the bed is overall a little thin as well as the pillow but I didn't notice any issues with this and was able to sleep well snd feel refreshed in the morning. The toilet and shower facilities are good although you need to bring your own toiletries. Overall would definitely book this place and come back to cameron highlands again!
