Lakeshore Hotel
"Positives: - Perfect family resort with tons of activities for children to enjoy. Can spend the whole day just taking part in activities - breakfast is fantastic, in terms of taste and variety, especially the usage of local hsinchu food - Room big, comfortable and with nice decor - international power socket - baby shampoo, soap and lotion provided - eco friendly (toilet amenities such as tooth brush, paste) only provided upon request - indoor swimming pool - sauna Negatives - location not the best (next to a lake but not near the city centre or other amenities. Only a convenience store at the outside of the hotel) - sound insulation not perfect. Maybe just my room. Room facing the road, can hear the sound of traffic."
EPISODE HSINCHU - JDV BY HYATT
"I had a really nice stay at Episode Hotel Hsinchu. The place feels modern and cozy, and everything was clean and well taken care of. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, which made it easy to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The location is also convenient for business but not so for leisure holiday. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, easy stay in Hsinchu."
Dar Lon Hotel
"I read great reviews but I was a bit disappointed. My sheets smelled like they didn't fully dry. I wanted to add an extra night but they said my room was unavailable and I would need to change rooms. I asked if I upgraded my room, could I get one where I could stay in 2 consecutive days. They said I would need to purchase a whole other room and my current room will be forfeited and not refunded. I asked what if I'm okay to change room just let me check out an hour later, I was still asked to pay the extra fee of $500/hour. Extremely penny pinching and no compromise given. For breakfast, there wasn't anyone there to check the tickets so anyone can just walk in. Not allowed to smoke on the balcony, you need to go to the 1F or 5F for that. Only body wash and shampoo provided. No tea or coffee in the room. A kettle and tea cups with no spoons. Pros: spacious room and bathroom. A lot of closet space. Safety deposit box. Luggage storage after check-out. Complimentary snack/drinks BUT not allowed to takeaway or take to the room to eat."

Hua Tai Hotel
"The location is very convenient, less than a 10-minute walk from Hsinchu Station, and within walking distance of the city center. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, and everything tasted delicious. The room was clean and had a hairdryer, a large refrigerator, and two bottles of water. Some rooms don't have windows, so I requested a different room at check-in, and they kindly changed my room as one was available. The large bathtub was also a plus. The front desk staff were very kind and answered all my questions thoroughly, making for a very pleasant experience. I personally recommend this hotel."
Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu
"Liked this for a business hotel. Only complaint was the gym closes early. I got there about 10 and hoped to use the gym but it was too late."
Sun-view Motel
"The room is quite large, with a parking space and breakfast available. When eating in the past, the proprietress kindly asked us which room we lived in and asked if we slept well. Some responded that the air conditioner was not cold, and it would be hot in the middle of the night. Sweating, (Besides, I have a sensitive body, I didn’t say that I had nightmares that night when I slept) I searched the hotel after I left, only to find out that there was a ****** in this hotel, but I think I kept it in my heart. Good thoughts, I am not afraid of ghosts knocking on the door in the middle of the night, but I don’t know the reason why the lady boss asked about the situation is because of this, so she cares about us? Because I see that she is very enthusiastic in greeting every visitor, and the cycle of kindness will bless"
