"We stayed here for one night while attending the NORA Hunter Mountain off-road tour and received a discounted group rate. The location was perfect, the room was clean, comfortable, and better than I expected. The staff and restaurant were excellent, I really enjoyed the pizza, and our waitress was fantastic. My only suggestions would be to add a microwave to the rooms and keep coffee available throughout the day. The light continental breakfast was appreciated, but everything was packed away fairly early. The only reason we didn’t stay longer was the room rate. I completely understand that resorts have seasonal and event pricing, and I may simply not be the target guest for that pricing. Had there been an opportunity to extend our stay for another night or two at a reduced off-season rate, we probably would have stayed and explored the area a little more. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay, were treated very well, and wouldn’t hesitate to return if our travels brought us back to Hunter Mountain."

"Service at DMI was top-notch; from reservation to check out, the DMI team was exceptional, especially Logan & Caigla. The stay was magical. The hike from the inn to the spectacular views at the lean-to was like a pleasant stroll on our own private mountain! On the day of check out we even got half foot of snow, a beautiful winter wonderland in the middle of April. I was contemplating the short 1/4 mile hike from Tuckaway to inn for the complimentary breakfast, they have the most delicious bagels, when my party announced they already have breakfast prepared (the kitchen here has everything you’ll need). DMI was most gracious and quickly got the driveway & roads plowed. We are grateful for a most enjoyable stay!"

"We love the northern Catskills, and this location on Hunter Mountain is great. We don't ski, but we come off-season in the spring or summer or fall, when the area is beautiful and green. We have stayed here a number of times. We like the look and feel of the hotel, and the staff is friendly. This is a typical skiers hotel, with matter-of-fact rooms, but they are large and well laid-out, and the hotel offers a nice deal on a family double room. We ask for a valley view, which looks out across the small town. The one issue is the food. The restaurant has no character and the food is bad. We usually drive into Tannersville for dinner."

"The inn is elegant, spacious, full of texture, natural wood finishes and warmth (wood burning fire places in lounge, very nice gas fireplace in our bedroom and the 'attic' a place to play pool, board games, read, watch movies, complete with self service honor system wine bar. Each morning a breakfast spread in the lounge/dining hall is included, and not to be missed-fresh baked local goods, cheese, yogurt, granola, egg sandwiches, etc."
