"I am absolutely outraged by what your hotel has done. I planned a Christmas trip two months in advance for myself, my mother — who is flying in from Russia tomorrow — and my young son. I made the reservation early and paid in full, trusting your hotel to be professional and reliable. And now, one day before Christmas, I receive a phone call informing me that my reservation is being canceled. The explanation? Some kind of mouse infestation inspection. Are you serious? Canceling a paid reservation at the very last moment, on Christmas Eve, for a family with a small child and an elderly parent arriving from another country, is beyond unacceptable. This shows a complete lack of responsibility, respect, and basic human decency. Because of your negligence, I am now left with no accommodation on the day before Christmas, during one of the busiest travel periods of the year. You have put my family in an extremely stressful and unfair situation. This experience has been a complete disaster. I strongly warn others: do not trust this hotel. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away. I am deeply disappointed and expect a full explanation and appropriate compensation for this unacceptable treatment."

"This is a hidden gem for anyone hiking in the Sierra. The place is like a cute bed and breakfast, and they do serve a hot breakfast to hikers in the summer months. But there is so much more to their services: Shuttle service to trailheads, clothes washing, lots of information for hikers. Most importantly, they offer a place for the hiking community to be able to relate and discuss events on the trail; everything from weather to trail conditions. I highly recommend."

"What an unbelievably beautiful historic hotel! We’re so glad we decided to stop for the night on our summer adventures. Our Classic King room, with the most heavenly bed, was so charming & I loved the beautifully restored writing desk to journal my thoughts for the day. It’s quite obvious the current owners have poured much love into this newly renovated treasure. The lobby looks like a movie set with all the attention to detail quite apparent! The light continental breakfast was perfect before setting out on our next excursion. We’ll definitely be back when we’re able to stay longer & truly explore all the area has to offer."

"Our experience at Mt. Williamson Motel couldn't have been better. They called before our arrival to go through details, parking, expectations. etc. So appreciated that! The Motel is quaint, quiet, and just perfect. We travelled with our dog and stayed in Bailey's Cabin which had an enclosed yard. The room was super cute, clean and cozy. BREAKFAST! the best! And we met so many wonderful travelers."
