Renovated in 2025, the Hotel Port-Royal is a great choice for accommodation in Quebec City. With Gare Du Palais just 900m away and Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport only 15km away, transportation is very convenient. There's plenty to do nearby, with G & M Bourguet Antiquaires Inc, La Fresque des Quebecois and Espace 400e all within a short distance. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic.
"Room was clean and amenities were good. Had sufficient utensils and cookware for warming/preparing food. Bathroom supplies were above average and adequate. Staff were always courteous and helpful. Enjoyed out stay there. Only gripes are location is down the hill from the popular attractions, so had to climb up to go to those places. We didn't mind, but could be tedious for other, especially when there's snow; and our room was towards the back of the building with the gas station next door, which was busy and created a lot of noise. Other than these, the price was decent and close to bus stop."

"We’ve had a lovely time at Auberge Saint-Antoine! The hotel is lovely and the staff are great, it’s in a great location and some rooms have lovely views like the one we were lucky to get. We used the valet the first time we stayed there who were great, but ended up parking across the road at the multi-storey car park the rest of the days as the valet is around $45+tax and tip so works out quite expensive. We found a really lovely spot around the corner for breakfast too called L’Antiquaire Buffet, they have amazing breakfast and really well priced, lovely staff too! The hotel is in a great location and easily walkable to a lot of sights and great restaurants."

"The room is not too big, but the bed is very big, one double for three people, the bathroom is big enough; there is always hot water and coffee, there is drink in the morning; during the stay, it should be the Italian restaurant under the same company. "Very nice hotel, located in the bustling area of the old city. Every staff member at the front desk was very kind and friendly. Booked a big bed and a twin room. At first, I was a little worried that the big bed room was too small, but when I opened the door, I found that the layout was very reasonable and not forced at all. The Lounge on the first floor of the hotel is very spacious, coffee, tea and fruit are free, and there are many books, board games, etc. Although the restaurant does not serve breakfast, it is very convenient to go to the surrounding coffee shops in the morning to buy it."

GGuest UserThere are many positives about this long term stay hotel. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The hot buffet (included with the price of the overnight stay)is absolutely amazing, just that alone is worth staying there. Toasts, bagels, muffins, cereals, hot porridge, cheese omelette, plain omelette, boiled egg, sausages, bacon, … and a “make your own” waffle station with sauces, whipped cream and different toppings!!! The coffee and tea or hot water is available in the lobby 24/7! Inside my studio suite, there is a full kitchen with dishwasher, full size fridge and you can borrow an electric induction plate for cooking. The room is big, with a curtain dividing the sofa bed and the king size bed. There are two layers of blinds to ensure complete darkness when sleeping.
The only negative thing was that my hotel room was facing the main road and so there were cars going by every 3-5 mins in the middle of the night, and I heard all the cars that went by, even at 1:00am or 3:00am while I was trying to sleep!!! The next day, I asked for ear plugs from the reception and slept so much better! I should have asked for them when I checked in.
The water temperature of the indoor saltwater pool is not too cold, but not warm. I had a good swim. This hotel is less than two years old, so everything is new, clean and bright. Lots of families with young children stayed there on the weekend I was there. A special thank you to the friendly staff especially the one who assisted me with my luggages.

The free self-parking and charging are great for those driving, and it's also convenient to walk to the supermarket. The only minor downsides are that toiletries and slippers aren't provided, it's about a 15-minute drive from the city center, and the breakfast options aren't extensive. Overall, it offers good value for money and is suitable for families on a road trip or business travelers. Recommended!

HHello there!We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Frontenac. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to be offered an early check-in with a discounted upgrade to a king bed room with a view, which was a great start to our visit.
The room itself was lovely. It is on the smaller side, but that is completely expected in a historical hotel and only adds to its charm. Everything was well maintained and comfortable.
The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The location is unbeatable and you truly cannot find a better spot to explore Old Québec and the surrounding area.
It is on the expensive side, but if you are visiting for a short stay and want to make the most of your experience, it is absolutely worth it. I would highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Québec City.

The location is superb, right in downtown Quebec City, adjacent to Old Quebec. You can easily walk to Old Quebec, the St. Lawrence River, and Parliament Hill. The executive lounge, located on the 23rd floor, offers an even better viewing experience, with captivating cityscapes by day and dazzling lights by night. The exterior environment is beautiful, featuring a unique outdoor heated rooftop pool that's open year-round. In the summer, you can enjoy cocktails at the poolside bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is definitely the hotel to choose when visiting Quebec! 👍

I was at the shower - the shower gel and shampoo were both empty. Obviously they didn’t refill the bottle. That’s fine. I called the counter and asked them to bring me new bottles. They rejected and asked me to go down. Ok that’s fine. I asked my friend to go down. He came back and said someone would come to change the bottles soon. Sure. I stood in the shower room for 10 minutes and no one came. Ok maybe they needed more time. I came out of the shower and sat down on the bed. Another 10 minutes. So I asked my friend to find someone. He was told that someone would come again. Another 10 minutes. A man came and gave me a bottle of shampoo and body lotion???? My friend went out again and finally got me some shower gel in a cup. It took more than 30 minutes and I just stood there. After shower, I got to do the skincare routine, dry my long hair and so on. Eventually, I went to check out. I was late of course. The lady asked me to pay for late fee. I was like ???????????????????? Explained and she agreed to waive the fee. Everything was perfect until the empty da** bottles. I am late for my lunch reservation now and I am missing some attractions for sure.

CclarissaWe had a wonderful stay at QUALITY INN—perfect for families with kids! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Our children loved the clean and well-maintained warm pool especially after a long day walk in Old Quebec. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was a great way to start each day. The staff are really nice and the guest laundry room are helpful to have clean clothes after our family trip. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway.

CCarmen CarmelinaVery unique looking decor. Everything looked new and was very clean. Super amenities. I prefer hotels to Air BnB and this had the extras like a stove, fridge, cooking pots and pans, dishes, utensils, kettle, and a N'Espresso machine. There is even a Metro grocery store around the corner and restaurants outside The downsides are that it appears to be in an ”interesting” part of town (I would not be comfortable walking alone as a woman), and stairs, no elevator. It was a challenge to bring up the luggage even to the second level. Otherwise a great place in Quebec City and within walking distance to the train station, which is why I chose it.

VVincentJust a few minutes from the Upper Promenade, with a lovely casual feeling and comfortable rooms. Shared toilet but always very clean and never a wait. Front desk staff were really friendly. Enjoyed the shared coffee, kettle, microwave and fridge at reception.
An enjoyable 3 night stay. Recommended.
