"Everything about this hotel was fine and pleasant. The location is strategic and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only unfortunate issue was that my Garmin watch went missing during my two-night stay. On the first night, I am certain that I fully charged the watch and did not wear it or take it out of the room until checkout. When preparing to leave, I struggled to find it, but unfortunately, I still could not locate it. This was the only regretful incident during my stay, which otherwise would have been a very positive experience."

"The service was excellent, warm and welcoming. They provided pick-up and drop-off service, complimentary homemade jam at check-out, and even brought two bottles of water knowing we were taking the train. The facilities were superb. The sauna was especially comfortable, featuring a Finnish sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor hot springs, and a facility I'd never seen before. We didn't see any staff in the sauna and massage area, ensuring excellent privacy, and the facilities were complete. However, note that it's a ”naturalistic” mixed-gender bath. The restaurant faces Spiez Bay, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, offering picturesque scenery. You can order à la carte items like coffee, fried eggs, and omelets. The breakfast was also delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well-maintained; although it's over a century old, it doesn't feel dated at all. Our bay-view room offered stunning views of Lake Thun during the day, the sunset painting the castle in the evening, and the moonlight reflecting on the calm lake at night. Spiez is a beautiful town, like a paradise. It's very convenient for traveling to Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Zermatt. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the opportunity to visit."

"The room cleaner was incredibly careless, and even the biscuits and water were out of order. The front desk was unhelpful and the phone call was extremely rude, making for a very poor experience. I strongly suspect they discriminate against Chinese people. I requested a honeymoon, but no action was taken, whereas other hotels would have offered congratulations. The hotel was packed with Chinese people, but breakfast offered nothing Chinese-friendly; it was all cold dishes, which was terrible. We were asked to check out early without prior notice, and I had to ask for all the hotel amenities and services. While the setting was nice, with a view of Lake Thun, getting to the train station was a hassle."

"The room is big, but the corridor has a smell, which is standard for domestic B&Bs, but the restaurant is beautiful, the scenery is so beautiful, facing the sea, it feels like spring flowers are blooming, a good choice"

"I booked the hotel one day in advance, but I didn't expect to encounter such a treasure hotel. The free spa is open all day, not crowded and very quiet. It is open to children from 11 to 3 every day. There are two parts, indoor and outdoor, and an outdoor sunbathing area. After washing, I felt my skin was smooth. There are adult swimsuits for sale. The hotel is by the lake, and you can go swimming and paddle boarding in the lake. This is part of the life of the locals. It is a rare experience. The hotel restaurant is also good. You should be able to eat different meals during your week."

"I booked for two nights. On the first night, I was given the wrong room type, and the hotel was fully booked. They offered me breakfast as compensation, which was all they could do. The first night, my room was facing the street, so there was some noise. There was also a constant dripping or pipe sound from the bathroom, which was quite disruptive; my son didn't fall asleep until midnight. The second night, I moved to room 31, which was excellent – quiet, a bit more spacious, and had a small balcony. Even though there was a mix-up with the room and I didn't sleep well the first night, the staff were incredibly nice. They offered a welcome drink upon arrival and even gave me two bottles of water when I left. The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from the train station, so it wasn't too much trouble with luggage. The rooms have disposable slippers, and there are disposable cups at the bar near the entrance. The panoramic rooms are comfortable, and those on the 3rd floor are even better. The other suite I booked on the 2nd floor was also very good."

"Should live in a lake view room, the scenery is super beautiful, especially at sunrise and in the evening, the sky is red, you can sit outdoors and eat when there is sunshine at noon, the taste is OK, the fish is delicious. The hot and coli in Switzerland is too delicious, my son has to drink a cup every morning. The room is a bit old, it is a family hotel, and it is well maintained."

"The terrace view of the lake view room is great! You can directly see Spitz Castle and Lake Tuen. It is a pleasure to sit on the road and watch the scenery. There is also a group of black sheep downstairs that is very cute. Check-in needs to be confirmed in the email, you can directly unlock the mobile phone, this is very convenient, the health is very good, the whole house is very clean, two people live very generous, and the dishwasher is great Very close to Spitz Railway Station, there is a ramp to push the box directly, there is a coop and a pharmacy drugstore in a few minutes walk nearby, the overall is very convenient ～"

"Great location for end of the day swim in the fresh water. Service? Not sure what to say. Owner was okay. Hard to communicate as he comes across rude but if you carry on, he will answer your questions. It’s like a military camp, where everything is strict and time stamped. No such thing as flexibility on check ins and early breakfast. Breakfast is decent and we really enjoyed the view whilst having it. Nicely decorated place. Not vegan friendly as the name suggests 🤣🤣 overall good hotel."
