Because of road construction at Takaya Shrine, all buses were suspended, and the owner kindly offered to rent bicycles for free, which was a great help. Public transportation is so infrequent here that it's difficult to find public transport back to the city after photographing the sunset over the Sky Torii gates."

"A quiet hotel on a hill in the suburbs. It hosts many large groups, but perhaps due to the location, the people there are very gentle. The rooms are spacious and clean. They're not old and are comfortable. For dinner, we had a seafood course full of local specialties. For breakfast, we had a buffet with lots of local side dishes.
